I love anything melon, and oddly enough, this cucmber melon soap from Bath & Body Works smells almost like a Japanese meloned product.

One cucumber, 4 adjustable levels of slicing thickness.

Cucumbers and apples are a delicious combination and you don't have to feel guilty about the calories.

The cucumber (Cucumis sativus) is a widely cultivated plant in the gourd family Cucurbitaceae, which includes squash, and in the same genus as the muskmelon.

I picked these today to make pickles! If we can find a jar, that is. Playmobil man for scale. These things are pretty wide. If the pickle recipe works out, I'll make some pickled green beans as well. The green beans are growing so fast that it's hard to eat them all.

That is a 12-inch ruler it's sitting on. The cucumber was actually good, and not very seedy. Also, this was one of two giant cukes that I grew this summer.

Low water flow at Cucumber Falls and bright conditions led to many disappointing shots. It was still nice to get out and take in a little nature. I did get to experiment with the x1.4 and x2 teleconverter on the camera. This was at x1.4 I believe.

a friend of Jenna's gave us a cuke from her CSA under the condition that I post photos of cucumber seltzer made with it, so here they are.

To all who comment on my pictures thank you. I ask that you honestly critique them so I can learn and grow with my photography.

 

A beautiful place in southern Pennsylvania, my pictures can never do it justice.
