I had to buy cucumber seedlings because snails ate all of the ones I started from seed.

Lemon cucumbers sounded like a cool idea, but they have a really thick spiky skin and are hard to peel because of their shape. I think next year I will grow normal cucumbers.

Yes, I'm recommending a recipe that includes mayo - we buy the light version and with a bit of fresh onion and dill and the little bit of vinegar & sugar added, it's a light tangy dressing that actually is ok for diabetics, according to my sources.

The cucumbers are coming into their own. And they taste great!

The soju arrived at our table in a teapot, steeping in cucumbers. A refreshing, natural flavor, partially masking the weird chemically undertones of the soju.

  

It tastes okay fir a cucumber that probably cross pollinated with a

honeydew melon.

Recipe from the Alinea Restaurant cookbook. Cucumber gelée with a green almond. It's bright green color comes from juicing with the skin-on.

Sliced cucumber,beets,black radish, and onion, marinated in balsamic and apple cider vinegar and water.

The beets gave this a beautiful color.
