Boxing day 2015 and floods hit large areas of West Yorkshire. Meanwood beck is one of the the primary minor tributaries of the Aire in Leeds, draining uplands north of the city. Though minor in comparison to the serious flooding in the city centre (which itself pales to insignificance compared to the Calder Valley) the flooding here shows just how saturated the Aire catchments were.

During 2004 excavations a lunar calendar which is believed was used from 8000 BC to about 4000 BC.[7] It is believed to pre-date by up to five thousand years time-measuring monuments in Mesopotamia.
After weeks of cloud, I managed to grab 20 minutes on Friday before the clouds took over. Managed to get this wide field shot of M81 & M81. I need much more data really.
