This image was taken this past winter in Florida when they were building their nest.

It is not the image I had hoped to post, but I am having difficulty in saving my images to jpegs in CS6. Anyone who has encountered this problem, I would appreciate some help in getting it fixed.

With all of the nightscaping that I have been doing lately, my stream is looking a little dark, so I have decided to start posting some of my favorite day shots to help brighten it up.

Here's an early evening photo taken in the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs Colorado. As I was waiting for the sun to go down, I watched the shadows stretch across the park and sunlight started to illuminate the top of the Tower of Babel formation and thought I would snap a few. :)

Thanks for taking the time to take a look at my photos, and as always, your views, comments, faves, and support are greatly appreciated!! Have a great week ahead my friends!! :)

If you have any questions about this photo or about photography in general, I will do my best to help, just post a comment or send me a Flickr mail and I will respond as quickly as possible.

Legend says that Atlantis city was built by Poseidon, god of sea when he fell in love with a mortal woman Cleito. He made this city on top of a nearby hill and named it Atlantis. It is believed that he walked through these islands until he reached the biggest of them all- Atlantis and found it to be inhabited by people more beautiful and intelligent than rest of the world. It is here he first saw his future wife and fell in love with her.

This is is not an hdr,i used luminosity-masks,and high pass sharpening filter and a lot of selections and masks to create the final.

Thank you for taking the time to view my image.

I trekked down to Laguna Beach this evening in hopes of catching some cloud coverage, but alas it wasn't meant to be. The tide was at its lowest level exposing this crevice. I climbed down in and setup my comp over the water. It wasn't until I returned home and started processing that I noticed this little fella hiding in the shadows. No photoshop trickery here this is the actual photo with minor processing. The hair stood up on the back of my neck momentarily when I noticed him there on the right side my composition.

Trying out a few things on CS6, first time using it decided I would test out a watermark or two.

This was taken at Dundas Conservation Area in Ontario, Canada during the Hot Chocolate Festival.

I think this is my first time experimenting with a multiple daylight long exposures, I took 400 shots at this famous spot on Xinyi Avenue, and then picked five of them to create this image.

1. Clouds (one exposure): 192 sec., f22, 11mm, ISO 200 + ND8 + ND400 + Black card.

2. Traffic (four exposures): 1 sec., f22, 11mm, ISO 200 + ND8 + Black card

3. Processing: Adobe Camera Raw + CS6 + Google Nik Collection

Have a great day!

Here's another photo from my trip to La Jolla Tidepools. Taken around 7:15am with my Flickr friend David Frey at Hospital Reef.

I have seen many photos of the potholes and after seeing it in person I am blown away by the compositions people have managed to cook up. Since this was my first time trudging in knee deep surf and always feeling the need to guard my camera with my life, I felt that 2-3 feet off the water was as low as I was willing to go, and David ask me at one point why I wasn't using a shutter release to which I replied, I'm just going to bracket my shots, which was only part of the reason.

I was more concerned about dropping it in the water while plugged into my camera. Ouch, That would suck!!

I will definitely be returning here on a regular basis. It's worth every mile of the drive and as a bonus the Children's Pool Jetty is just up the street. So much great stuff to shoot in San Diego. :)

Have a great day!

I haven't touched my camera in so long. Just got a new laptop and Lightroom 4 and Photoshop CS6 so I'm excited to start using those.

I was just tryin' out my macro attachment in this image, nothing special.

Using a soft focus filter to make this picture look old. It was taken in Meeriden, CT at the barn at Miller Memorial at 267 Olive St., near the Broad St. intersection. I'm trying ssmething new with this image, by taking the extreme starpness out of the image. and softening it up a bit, but leaving the color saturation and white balance, pretty much as taken.
