Having just spent most of the day installing the Adobe CS6 suite on my Mac Pro (a particularly tedious process involving many reboots, arcane permission rituals, and enough head scratching to induce baldness) I decided to run a test image through my Flickr posting workflow.

This image of the roof was edited in Photoshop CS6 and then saved using the "save for web" option. The good news with this route is the file size is reduced and the reds seem fine. However the process removed most EXIF data including the geolocation tags. Now that I realize this I have found an option in "save for web" that retains all EXIF data including location. Yippee.

Time for a roof tune up.

After weeks of cloud, I managed to grab 20 minutes on Friday before the clouds took over. Managed to get this wide field shot of M81 & M81. I need much more data really.
