Title "school building of the summer vacation"
I made this illustration using illustrator CS5 of Adobe Corporation.
In fact, there was the model of this illustration.
Therefore this illustration cannot be completely called my original; is not precocious.
But I am happy if I have you image the school grounds of the elementary school of quiet summer vacation.
This spaceship was made in Photoshop with a montaging technique using old computer parts, household items and random junk!
The full tutorial is included in issue 10: bit.ly/xxFe4g
two fucking things: raises you' arms and make sure that nothing escapes from you during this endless race!
Bleed and sweat! No regret!
And..btw you look like a mess, baby.
Another one in comments.
One of the many urban parrots that call southern California home. This is the only "countable" parrot using the ABA (American Birding Association) guidelines. Countable or not, it's always fun to run into a group of these raucous birds.
I really wanted to clone out the twig obscuring his tail, but just don't have the skills. Ah, to own CS5 and its magic :-)

Karl Marx (1818-1883)
Karl Marx pointing the finger at capitalism did not diminish it, but he did allow us to understand it more.
Imperialism is based on an asymmetry of power. Do not be deluded into thinking that becoming absorbed into a global network confers wealth or status; it only serves to enlarge the influence and prosperity of the people at the centre.
Empires seek to enlarge by domination; to amass ever greater power, ever more people.
Emperors dress up their intentions with "cultural benefit", and "political stability". They offer the little people protection from the big bad wolf on their doorstep whilst being ready to pounce themselves. They choose their targets driven by compliant workforces and natural resources.
Capitalism is based on the notion of growth. Every company, every corporation, every nation must be in the process of enlarging its influence. Capitalism seeks ever growing markets to sell its products, carved from the earth it appropriates. More iron ore to make more giant refrigerators to spend a few years in the condominia, the tower blocks, the simple homes, before being consigned to the scrapyard and landfill. Build more and build obsolescence is the mantra of capital.
In America, from Eisenhower through Reagan to Trump, presidents have seen their purpose as maintaining and enlarging their country's influence over others. Those in danger of being subsumed are torn between the glittering baubles, the trappings of conspicuous consumption, and the loss of independence, sovereignty if you will.
Marx's finger reveals the unpalatable truth that capitalism cannot raise the living standards for the many above slightly more than subsistence, and cannot continue the untrammelled wealth acquisition of the few. Ever more cuts to ordinary people's wages, social benefits, and opportunities to compensate for falling profits are made more extreme by the costs of pursuing Imperial military aggression.
Not only is socialism an economic necessity but it is also inevitable.

Image edited in Topaz Adjust 5 from Lightroom 4, I think the Dramatic Preset used, slight saturation adjustment and back to LR4, spot removal for sensor dust, and noise reduction and crop. Then finished in CS5, High Pass Filter to Sharpen (Some just sharpen in LR4) then border applied..About 5 mins or less on each image except for the Sundial image where a few people needed to be removed using the Healing Brush and Close Stamp in CS5...

Any guesses as to the make? The car was in New Westminster, the background is English Bay, and the moon was over Miami.

NEBPT Seaburn Rally 2017 August Bank Holiday, the time when little children are given the day off from climbing chimneys to collect the harvest in the fields, or if they are in the city, go to the Historic Vehicle Display, arranged by the North East Bus Preservation Trust. Dark clouds threatened, but the rain kept away. Sunny periods lit up the gleaming exhibits which included cars, vans, trucks, and, buses.
It was an occasion for catching up with friends as well as spotting the newer or less displayed exhibits. I bring you a few here.
