So this is the last one that I will be posting of these for a bit...(i think). While i know I have A LOOOOT still to learn, this photo is sort of a collection of all I have learned with the new cs5 for the past 2 weeks and literally took me 2 days to compose so I hope you like it.
This image is something that i have been wanting to do for a LONG time, and it wasn't until the new tools in CS5 came out that made it possible for me to even attempt.
Self portrait.

Another photo from my excursion with Beth and Nan to the Oceano dunes. I used HDR Pro in CS5, three exposures.
This was a bit of an experiment at my local cemetery. I like the contrast between the trees and the grass but also the 3 park benches situated in between them. The sun was setting fast so i quickly got my camera out and mounted it on the tripod.
This was created using 5 exposures (Magic Lantern) and then edited in Photomatix Pro, Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Nik Color Efex Pro.
Sunsets are tricky and I was a little disappointed by the lack of clouds last night. Despite this i was reasonably happy with the shot but I know I can grab a better one in the future so I will definitely revisit.
Created in Photoshop CS5 for the MMM game challenge -

The Stage Coach Road parallels Highway 101 and San Luis Obispo Creek through the shade of Cuesta Canyon while heading up to the Cuesta Grade summit. This historic road was formerly the Old Padre Trail, dating back to the 1700s. The Old Padre Trail was a primary route connecting San Luis Obispo with the northern inland valleys. Although the Stagecoach Road may be used by motor vehicles, it is primarily used for hiking and biking.
ABOUT THIS IMAGE:
On this day, I had been longing to check out Old Stage Coach Road. It had been a long time since I had been there. I had some business to do on this morning, so I decided to take a look afterwards. It is only a short drive. Although it was a bright midday, I was very happy to get in a few good captures. I loved how this tree leaves were brightly lit at the top and in shadow down below.

After having a delicious dinner at Bub’s BBQ place on 116 (Amherst Rd.), we decided to go for a little grocery shopping, not that we needed anything in particular, just want to walk all those ribs and fries off. Shopping late in the evening in Amherst is pretty cool, no heavy lineups, no waiting for parking, and always friendly services from places like Big Y and Stop&Shop. Here is a snap of us looking at something special. XD

Here is the first process of my LRGB data. I added just over 4 hours of RGB to the 5 hours of luminance shot earlier.
The RGB filters were stacked with an IDAS LP2 light pollution filter which I think has made a remarkable difference. I will be either replacing or adding to the current luminance data with the IDAS, which will give me more signal in the data.

Mckay Falls in Big Sur. If this isn't the best beach I've ever seen I don't know what is. I really wanted to get down onto the beach but the trails were all closed off. Even from here though its stunning. I'll go back one day and get down there to take pictures!
This was a 60 Second exposure using a polariser, a 10 stop filter and a 0.3 soft grad.

George Burns as God
John Denver as Landers.
Jerry Landers: How can you permit all the suffering that goes on the world?
God: Ah, how can I permit the suffering?
Jerry Landers: Yes!
God: I don't permit the suffering. You do. Free will. All the choices are yours.
Jerry Landers: Choices? What choices?
God: You can love each other, cherish and nurture each other or you can kill each other. Incidentally, "kill" is the word. It's not "waste." If I had wanted "waste" I would have written "thou shalt not waste." You're doing some very funny things with words. You're also turning the sky into mud. I look down, I can't believe the filth. Using the rivers for toilets, poisoning my fishes. You want a miracle? *You* make a fish from scratch. You can't. You think only God can make a tree? Try coming up with a mackerel. And when the last one's gone, that'll be that. Eighty-six on the fish, goodbye sky, so long world, over and out.
Hubble Palette image consisting of 20 x 10 minutes in Hydrogen Alpha, 20 x 10 minutes OIII & 22 x 10 minutes SII. Total exposure time of 10 hours 20 minutes.
I don't think I had ever seen this imaged before until I saw Sara's recent excellent version www.flickr.com/photos/swag72/7796546996/ which inspired me to have a go myself.
The Oxygen & Sulphur is quite weak in contrast to the Hydrogen signal, meaning it took a lot of processing between Pixinsight & CS5 to get the colours to the Hubble golds and blues.

ABOUT THIS IMAGE
“The Sea is My Serenity”
The Sea belongs to everyone, all the fish, whales and seabirds. The sailors and fisherman, and I walk the shores, watch the sunsets and sunrises and photograph the wave-pounded rocks. I feel the connection and the Sea calms me. That Ocean music fills my ears, the smells my nostrils and the waters lap at me feet. Where else but the forest of Nature can one feel Serene..!!!

My attempts to photograph the moon to celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival were not very successful but the one where a tree got in the way was more interesting, so I just cropped it and added colour to the moon.
