I've long been fascinated by the site of the steel wheels on steel rails, particularly when the wheels are crossing a diamond.

A couple crosses Boylston Street. Behind them, Charles Street separates the Boston Common (right) and the Public Garden (left).
An older set of warning lights. You still see these around, usually guarding lines that are seldom used, or rarely used roads that cross busier lines. This one's guarding the entry to the parking lot at the Wasco town hall.
