The crossing from Fogo to Brava and back to Fogo (Cape Verde Islands), was on a small cargo ship. We think it was initially built as a tug - it was totally without stabiliser and not really suitable for such an open water crossing.

The crossing was one of the roughest I have ever experienced, and certainly one of the wettest.

EPMG South Queensferry June 2019-11 by Philip Gillespie

A visit to South Queensferry with the Edinburgh Photography Meetup Group to photograph the 3 bridges. The weather was a little changeable managed to find some new spots to shoot from. It's always a challenge to get a decent shot of all thee bridges. Includes the Forth Road Bridge, the Forth Rail Bridge and the new Queensferry Crossing.

Crossing (which does activate) leading to nowhere. Nothing but dirt to the left and just a fence to its right. It appears it will eventually lead to whatever is being constructed on the left. (To the left of the crossing used to be track sidings for commuter trains, but they were all pulled up as seen in some of my other pics.)
