Linda crossing Mill Creek on the Sandwich Boardwalk. It was Easter Sunday but still cold -- about 40 (4 c) -- and there were gusty winds and breezes.

Passed this hundreds of times before noticing it wasn't just a fence. On the very disused Warrington and Altrincham Junction Railway (I think) where it crosses the A6144 in Carrington.

The level crossing gates were released by Rolleston Junction signal box 34 lever until 2nd October 1966 when Rolleston Junction signal box closed. The level crossing was converted to a manned level crossing (full barriers) normally automatically operated with obstacle detection crossing controlled from the Netherfield workstation in the East Midlands Control Centre from 24th October 2016

A lookout tower constructed in 1930, it is touted as being the best view in Buck's County. I've been up there before, and climbing the tower again was the point of our trip this day, but a wasp infestation kept us from going to the top. Very bummed, but the strucure itself is impressive enough.

Pair of Mallard ducks cross the flooded Highway 101 (old US 169). The Highway 101 Minnesota River crossing is under water again in June 2014.

Our hiking directions drastically played down the stream crossings. A few were easily navigated by hopping rocks but a few parts necessitated taking off your shoes or saying "Fuck it" and just plowing through the water. Towards the end of our stay, I was the first to enter "Fuck It Mode" and Ian shortly followed.
