Many people have been discouraged by the steep learning curve that faces them when first confronted with the program's user interface. My tutorial will take you on a step-by-step journey to create this mountain scene. The tutorial is very easy to follow, and it is compiled in a pdf format to make it as accessible as possible. When you have completed it you should have the confidence to start creating your own Terragen 2 scenes.

Good luck

For my last quarter at UC Santa Cruz, I was finally able to take intro to photo. this batch is taken from my first assignment: the photo scavenger hunt. We basically had to go down a list of things that were supposed to inspire us to shoot a variety of different things. I had fun with it. The category each picture is from is the name of each photo.

a little girl was playing with clay to give it some shapes...

i couldn't find what she was trying..

The Esterházy Palace at Fertőd is the greatest Baroque-Rococo monument complex in Hungary. On the site of the Palace, Duke Joseph Esterházy initiated the construction of a hunting lodge with twenty-two rooms in 1720, based on the plans of the Viennese architect, Erhard Martinelli. However, the golden age of the Palace began when Nicholas Esterházy (also known as Miklós ‘the Magnificent’) succeeded to the ducal title.

Utilising the grandeur of 18th century Baroque-Rococo architecture, Duke Nicholas enlarged the palace, and with the help of Nicolaus Jakoby; he created a large garden with several alleys. At the French Garden with an Opera House and a Marionette theatre and employed German theatre companies as well as Italian and French ballet dancers. The orchestra of the Palace led by Joseph Haydn the great musician and composer, the chamber composer and conductor at Eszterháza, was well-known all over Europe.

The second golden period of Eszterháza came about at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. The suites of the Palace and the French Garden were restored for Duke Nicholas Esterházy IV. and his wife, Countess Margaret Cziráky. Enchanted by Eszterháza the Countess spent her dowry on the restoration of the palace and the gardens. The modernisation of the park started in 1902. Among the designers of the gardens was Anton Umlauft, one of the best-known gardeners in the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy.

The need to create is one of the strongest and most beautiful desires we humans have. There is such power and magic in creating Beauty in any of her forms. For me the need to create is sometimes overwhelming, almost suffocating. The need to create Beauty is all consuming. I believe that all of us are driven to find someway to express ourselves, find our own individuality, to share with others who we truly are. And what is more beautiful and powerful, overwhelming and magical, than creating life? Aren't we all drawn to creating something that has a little bit of our soul mixed in? The photo above is of a painting I did last night while thinking of my own little one that I learned was on their way only a week ago. I have life growing in me, each day it grows bigger and stronger. And it is breathtakingly wonderful, and beautiful. I want to make a life for this child to be wondrous and full of light. I want to create a place of love, in and out of my being. A place where dreams come true. I am going to be a mother.

I saved little bits of leftover embroidery floss snippings each day as I stitched - over the past couple of weeks and glued them to the page.

I may keep adding to this page until it is completely covered ... but for now, I am ready to move on.

Just made this 'cause I love the sayings in this set. I used some paper from DCWVLa Creme matstack. It is an amazing stack of flocked and embossed papers in blacks and creams.

Sept 27, 2014 –”Hey Middle-Aged Man, do you wanna touch my boobs?” Meet PIMO (Pixy Yijun Liao and Moro Takahiro), a Brooklyn based toy rock duo and artist couple. Living in an “experimental relationship” they create work which plays with stereotypes, gender roles and sexuality. Above all though it’s humorous. When I asked them where they would like to shoot their “Record New York” session, they suggested Coney Island, which is a 5 minute subway ride from their home. The first song they rehearsed beforehand, so we were able to film it in just a few minutes. I asked them whether they would like to perform a second song. They reluctantly agreed, with the warning of possibly not fully remembering all the words. The video starts with them trying to remember the lyrics. Enjoy a charming rendition of “Middle-Aged Man” by PIMO!

Create a dark material design wallpaper using a dark blue and cyan color scheme, there is a small spiral of energy in the middle. --ar 16:9 @Nyota.Gordon

This was my first attempt at creating something after pulling out my LEGOs from years of storage. It's some kind of Zoid piece. Not sure what animal I was going for. Saber Fox thingy, er.... LoL anyways, It's been awhile since I built something. It was actually a little frustrating piecing it together because there wasn't a coherent color scheme but at least I tried to keep it uniform. If there's anything LEGO really taught me, it was to work with what you have. Make something out of the limited resources you have on hand. Let your imagination flow. As well as using my eyes to feel and find pieces that I could use, piecing something together in my mind before putting it into practice.

Designing organic pieces is something I'll probably visit later on after making spaceships and mecha haha. This piece isn't actually finished but it's as far as I wanted to take it before it drives me crazy lol.
