My "Create-a-Monster" triclops, Ajna, finally got her make-over. I rooted her hair using "Sour Grapes", "Bobby Blue" and "Daiquari Ice" nylon hair from dollyhair.com. I got the inspiration from this wig: www.ebay.com/itm/1-3-8-9-Dal-Pullip-BJD-SD-LUTS-BLYTH-Dol... (which I bought for one of my Pullips, but I haven't found anyone to wear it yet)

Special Recognition: Creating Art with my Hands
By Lucy W. Leonard
This project started August 2007, I had to over-come many obstacles to complete my Hawaiian quilt. I have scleroderma since 1987, it is a chronic connective tissue disease that hardens the skin, internal organs are affected. Still functional, I have all my fingers with hand disfigurement, affected daily with arthritis and vascular challenges.
Sometimes the only relief for a scleroderma patient’s hands is amputation, because it is painful! If diagnosed, one usually has Raynaud’s Phenomenon and if not controlled, it can be life threatening.
In 2000, I took up sewing thinking it will be therapeutic. Since then, I have taken a lot of art and sewing classes. I took Linda Visnaw’s Thread Sketches class (www.lindavisnaw.com) and adapted her Hawaiian Surprise designs, using my perspective, in my entry for the 2009 Veteran’s art festival competition.
Linda made sewing ergonomic suggestions like taping down a clean garbage bag to my work area. This allows fabric to move easily while performing free-motion embroidery and lessens hand fatigue. I used the four P’s: planning, prioritizing, problem-solving and pacing to accomplish this scheme
January 31, 2009, I applied Swaroski crystals all over it, flower by flower, step by step. It has taken a long time to finish, I have learned that the only limitation you have is within yourself.
A fellowship I am now part of with a team of Architects, Designers & a Engineer mentored by Kriti Monga (Turmeric Design)
New land being created for Maasvlakte II outside Maasvlakte Rotterdam. This is going to be another expansion of the port of Rotterdam. Dredging work continues 24/7. Since last time I was here a couple of months ago, they made enormous progress. Shot at 400mm ISO 200 F/10.0 at 1/800, turned monochrome in Lightroom. Silhouet shot, showing the sand being spout whilst water sprays off.
Testing out my new lens, a Canon EF100-400mm. Very happy with results sofar. It's quite large but manageable to carry and shoot even without tripod. It comes with image stabilizer and USM (ultrasonic motor) for the auto-focussing. Below some shots of the new gear, shot with my blackberry (poor quality..)

Fauxgo is a blog dedicated to documenting fake logos that have appeared in favorite Hollywood films.
Check out their compilation of fake brand logos and identities created for the film industry to use in movies. The effort is sort of an attempt by Hollywood to get away with using popular logos and brand-identities - that way they can still instill the "feeling" without having to pay the brand for royalties (or perhaps the brand wouldn't let them use the logo in the first place).
If it was in fact a true guerrilla marketing effort (by becoming so close to the original logo that it attracted press) it would probably be deemed a pretty wise idea. Nonetheless, these logos are still pretty neat and may serve as some creative inspiration for your next guerrilla marketing campaign.
Check out all fictitious logos at the Fauxgo.com website. Which are your favorites? Are there any made-up logos that were featured in movies that is missing?

My friend Bill Westerman, along with his super kind wife Ilana, run this cool company in California called Create with context.
They work in helping other companies to improve, innovate and evolve in terms of technology according to people's specific needs.
They have worked with important clients such as Adobe, Yahoo, Amway, Panasonic, Ebay, IBM among others.
They ask me to illustrate their 2010 bussiness calendar. The topic, of course, people.
Different people=different aproach to technology.
So, ¡¡here are the images!!!!

Many people have been discouraged by the steep learning curve that faces them when first confronted with the program's user interface. My tutorial will take you on a step-by-step journey to create this mountain scene. The tutorial is very easy to follow, and it is compiled in a pdf format to make it as accessible as possible. When you have completed it you should have the confidence to start creating your own Terragen 2 scenes.
Good luck
