Jute sticks are there to be dried by sun and this creates
an illusion of guarded path. Taken by Canon powershot SX50 HS, in Rangpur District, Bangladesh. Taken at noon. (no edit).
Shute Barton in Devon has a medieval core which was greatly expanded in the 1650's. . A part of it was torn down in the 1780's in order to create a drive from the gate-house to the newly built Shute House.
If Batman ever saw this photo, I am certain he would burn his regimentals in shame. Come on, man, you didn't even have chin ties.
My brother Brandon, approximately age 3 (this is a guess), sporting a craftily improvised Batman costume that my mother created around the t-shirt he's wearing. Awesome.

the title is a quote by Richard Wagner, whose operas were a major source of inspiration for Ludwig II of Bavaria (1845-1886), who had the Schloss Neuschwanstein (English: New Swanstone Castle) built and its walls decorated with frescoes depicting scenes from the legends used in Wagner's operas

The background is created using two Wombo images, one of which used my photo of Stonehenge as the input image. The source image, is then blended with the Wombo images. Final adjustments made in Topaz and Photoshop.
