Create a black-and-white cinematic portrait of a young girl sitting barefoot on a worn wooden porch beside an old barn. She hugs her knees close, long patterned skirt gathered beneath her, bracelets stacked on her wrists. A daisy-flower headband rests in her hair, framing her shy, mischievous smile. Soft natural light falls across her face, highlighting freckles and innocence. Tall grass and weathered wood textures surround her, evoking a nostalgic, rural summer mood. Dozens of leaders gathered for an exclusive reception focused on creating lasting change in our region at EdgeWild Restaurant and Winery in Chesterfield, MO on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. Guests heard firsthand from local leaders, including Rich McClure and Rev. Starsky Wilson on the work of the Ferguson Commission, Scott Schnuck on addressing local hunger and Connie Cunningham on Ready by 21 St. Louis, a process designed to help youth success in St. Louis County, St. Louis City and St. Charles County. Plenty of delicious hors d'oeuvres and drinks were provided courtesy of EdgeWild throughout the night.
Scenes from the Thursday, November 6, 2014 COSI After Dark, held from 5:30pm to 10pm. 275 grown-ups created their own flying machines, skittering robots, and giant structures using COSI's beloved blue blocks.
The 21+ event also featured concessions, a cash bar, and a featured craft beer from Columbus Brewing Company.
Event partners included: Engineers Without Borders Central Ohio Professional Chapter, IC3D, Design Outreach, and Columbus Brewing Company.
Design Outreach demonstrated their LifePump and other life-transforming solutions for poor and under-served communities. IC3D showcased their 3D printers and innovative filament for 3D printing.

Tree free, handmade papers, braid, motifs etc
I nearly jumped out of my skin when I received my MASSIVE parcel this morning, only posted yesterday! This photo does not show how beautiful and unique these silk, cotton etc papers and other bits made in a small Indian community are. I am going to have lots of fun with these!!
So much variety it's impossible to show, the glitter, embellishments and embossing isn't visible in this size photograph either. I made a few things already from some pieces I picked up from a craft fair.
