A collection i created for my FMP at foundation.
Inspired by the words of Shakespeare. Using six plays as my starting point for inspiration (Coriolanus, Othello, Romeo and Juliet, Much Ado About Nothing, A Midsummer Nights Dream and Antony and Cleopatra) I took inspiration from historical dress and architecture. Researching into one of my favourite time periods; Queen Elizabeth I’s Golden Age.
GAME GRAZY SHARES YOUR OBSESSION
Game Crazy blew up from 70 stores to 700 in two years. The logo and voice hadn’t kept pace. We overhauled their identity and created the tagline “We Understand” speaking to both the hard-core gamer (who had the obsession) and the gamer’s parent or significant other (who needed to understand the obsession and often paid for the games).
These guys drew a bigger crowd up on the centre stage with their amplifieries and drums - Electronica .

Dhaka Central Railway Station was the first location I visited along with GMB Akash. At the beginning of December 2023 I had the unique opportunity to visit the capital of Bangladesh together with this great photographer and teacher and humanitarian as part of a “6 days One on One Photography Workshop”. In my Flickr archive I show what was created and I would like to thank Akash and the people of Bangladesh from the bottom of my heart.
The church of St Mary, North Leigh has a long history. The late Saxon tower c. 1000-1050 once stood at the centre of a building with a nave to its west, In the early C13 the existing chancel was converted into a nave and north and south aisles were added. The Norman south doorway is older than the aisles of the present nave. Early English tower arch and the responds of the chancel arch of this period survive to the east of the present screen, Early English tomb recess in the north wall of the chancel. At the beginning C14 the aisles were extended west and new arches were created in the north and south walls of the tower. Decorated additions include a north door, now blocked, the windows of the south aisle and the east and west window. At the east end of the north aisle is the beautiful Wilcote chapel added c. 1439 by Elizabeth Wilcote d.1442 built as a chantry for her husband and two sons. The small chapel has an elaborate fan vault and large windows which retain their original stained glass, Richard Winchcombe may have been responsible for its construction. In the early C18 James Perrot had a burial chapel added to the north of the north aisle. It was built by Christopher Kempster of Burford, who worked on St Paul's Cathedral. G.E. Street restored the church in 1864 replacing the chancel north and south windows and building a south porch. North aisle screen early C18, stone chancel screen by Street. A C15 doom covers the east wall of the nave. Brass to Thomas Beckingham d,1431. Wonderfully carved alabaster effigies of Sir William Wilcote d,1410 and wife Elizabeth Blackett d.1442. Wall-monuments to Robert Perrot d,1605 and wife and William Lenthall d,1596 and wife, chancel and Wilcote chapel. C17 Perrot arms in plasterwork on the east side of the chancel arch once part of a decorative plaster chancel ceiling.
This quilt was made for a baby shower our of Dr. Suess material. Some blocks are four blocks, some are larger patches of Dr. Suess. Quilted in loop stitch.

William Blake was a painter, printmaker and poet who created some of the most iconic images in British art.
Radical and rebellious, he is an inspiration to visual artists, musicians, poets and performers worldwide. His personal struggles in a period of political terror and oppression, his technical innovation, his vision and political commitment, have perhaps never been more pertinent.
Inside the exhibition is an immersive recreation of the small domestic room in which Blake showed his art in 1809. You can experience for yourself the impact these works had when they were shown for the first time. In another room, Blake’s dream of showing his works at enormous scale is made reality using digital technology.
With over 300 original works, including his watercolours, paintings and prints, this is the largest show of Blake’s work for almost 20 years. It rediscovers him as a visual artist for the 21st century.

Almost 400 of Scotland’s tech start-up businesses have been supported during the first year of the Techscaler programme. First Minister Humza Yousaf visited the Techscaler hub in Stirling to meet start up business owners and learn more about the programme.
Infinity sign created by swinging a light source around for 10 seconds. My sister was also holding onto the color orb in her left hand, which you can see changing colors (which detracts from the infinity sign, so I wish it wasn't there).

With consumer confidence rising and we starting to see a light at the end of the recess.... While we still can, the good folks at the cutlery will be taking a "Economic Hibernation"!

On 06.03.09 The Cutlery will be closing their brick and mortar retail spot on mamo street to hibernate for latter part of 2009. During this hibernation we will be Camping/Traveling/Learning/Sourcing/Creating.... Basically getting inspired and fattening up on ideas and projects for 2010.
