In Daved Allen's book, Getting Things Done, he mentions that some of the most useful desks consist of a solid core door on top of a pair of filing cabinets. I think this would make a good alternative to using a door.
A collaborative project with Anglepoise, Strong Island & The University of Portsmouth.
10 artists/designers will be twinned with 10 photographers and an Anglepoise light.

Another ATC for HA challenge - this one is made by sponging the background with Spun sugar, broken china and Faded jeans inks and spritzed with gold perfect pearls and water. Then stamped with HA Collage Create stamp. I used the edges of the stamp to stamp in the corners and added a little sentiment, Added the text part of the stamp to the punched butterflies.
The bright yellow in the upper right and the pink and yellow in the bottom right have since dried. It was mainly gel medium so it has dried clear -- not the color seen in this photo.
Created as a spin off from the steam room backdrop used in the show. Created using realistic textures and lighting as opposed to the over the top bright steam room used in the show.

Individual “ants” before attaching to Chain-link fence.
This was my submission ("Create...") to the 1st Annual Chain-link Fence Art Exhibition and Competition. Had a lot of fun with this, inspired by chain-link fencing of which I’ve never worked with before, tricky stuff ;) My arms got a work out.
MATERIALS: 4 ft. x 4ft. scrap piece of chain-link fencing, a found barbeque grill (web), crystals, glass beads, found metal nuts/bolts/washers, metal wire and scrap telephone wire. I wanted people to discover the message in the spider’s web, “create” that would tie into the leading ant’s message of peace, happiness, laughter, love, opportunity, dreams, something(!). It’s good fun if we choose to create positive things for ourselves and the world :)

Working up bits and bobs for the Strong Island Exhibition at The Round Tower this Friday 15th April in Old Portsmouth using rubber stamps and a bowl of teabags.
A simple animation experiment combining Optical Flares with Plexus in After Effects. There's also a little touch of ToonIt and Looks in there too..
Created for no reason other than I enjoy working with Plexus...
I filmed Amber (the ballerina) on a Panasonic AF101 at 50FPS as part of a sequence for a recent car launch job....
