This is "Punisher" the female cat at the Heartland Humane Society in Corvallis, Oregon. I made her smaller so she would fit better in this dumpr Museum format. It remains to be seen if once this is online, if I can go back and change the one that isn't made into a Museum piece back to a nice size and resolution. If that can happen, it will happen soon. I've been volunteering this week with Camp Create-Ability to help students on the autism spectrum learn how to make short movies. Today the students were rehearsing their scripts with some of the costume and prop elements that will be in their movies. This chicken may or may not be in one of the movies.

Archaeological excavations carried out since 1954 have unearthed antiquities from an artificial mound of 12 m (39 ft) height containing seven stratified layers, created by various occupants from 2300 BC up to the 18th century, including Kassites, Greeks, Portuguese and Persians. It was once the capital of the Dilmun civilization and was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005.

ROSWELL, N.M. - The New Mexico National Guard Youth ChalleNGe academy held a ceremony here May 10 to officially open the renovated cadet barracks on the grounds of the Roswell International Air Center. The project to refurbish the existing building near the campus of Eastern New Mexico University held a price tag of $2 million and saw the academy, New Mexico National Guard, the City of Roswell and the Governor's office working together to create an updated living environment for the cadets. This undertaking took more than 5 years to fund and complete but will now be able to house up to 250 students per cycle. The typical number of cadets per cycle is between 100-150 students. The NMYCA was established in 2001 and has since graduated more than 2,150 students, the majority of whom have earned a GED and an average of 15 college credits. The renovated living accommodations will be a marketing tool for the academy as well as a morale booster for the cadets themselves to have an updated place to rest.
