Who would have thought that palms used to welcome the Lord to Jerusalem would have to be transformed into symbols of defiance and resistance to evil. Christians must stand up for their faith, resist persecution and defy evil. The Holy Spirit will provide the necessary courage through Divine Love.
For the record, I wholeheartedly and completely renounce and reject ISIS' sick ideology of evil! I stand united with the persecuted and place this image in the public domain (CCO).
We’re creating a Haunted House with lower-school students in our Maker Art class at the Lycée Français this fall.
In this after-school workshop, students are building a fantasy world together, with magical creatures, ghosts, witches and other animated characters inspired by Halloween.
We are combining arts and technology to bring their creations to life: each student will have their own room in our haunted house, and they will learn to build simple robots with motors and Arduino, then play with lights and sounds to tell their stories for our ‘show and tell’.
For our first class, we invited students to plan their Haunted House together, then design their rooms and characters, to be featured inside their cardboard ‘wonderboxes.’ My associate Sarah Brewer showed them how to create their own electronic circuit to light up an LED, using copper tape to connect the LED to the battery.
We teach this class to students in grades 4 and 5 at the Lycée Français in Sausalito, every Thursday at 3:30pm, from September 15 to December 15, 2016.

Created for a swap-bot swap. I taught a daffodil collage class at my local senior center and followed up with this postcard. Snow dyed paper, painted book pages, scrapbook paper.
She mentioned that she forgot she had worn the sunglasses that day, but would quickly remember each time someone looked her way and smiled or laughed.
I also liked her t-shirt but didn't read it until later. I wish I had asked about it. It reads: there are only two kinds of ships... submarines and targets.

The master's tools will never dismantle the master's house. They may allow us temporarily to beat him at his own game, but they will never allow us to bring about genuine change.

Creating Style: The Photograph Rebellion
This is a highly detailed, original watercolor painting of the 2000x Philadelphia Eagles uniform. It was created as part of a collection of 16 pieces of original art celebrating the history of the uniforms of the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles franchise. This original painting, and more than 1500 other NFL, MLB, NHL, NCAA football and CFL uniform paintings, is available for sale at our Heritage Sports Art website.
To get a good understanding of the art, the history behind this whole project and what the art looks like when it's framed, please check out our Philadelphia Eagles Artwork YouTube video.
You can also read several Philadelphia Eagles history posts at our Heritage Jerseys and Uniforms blog including a history of every home stadium the Eagles have ever played in - and also several hundred other NFL, MLB, NHL, NCAA football and CFL posts too.

Did you enjoy this project? Yes, It is nice to work in a theme with open parameters. My ideas began to flow and I was off and running.
About: We are all people not matter what are backgrounds, sexual orientation, or religious beliefs. Instead of dividing us we should be united as our name states. It feels more like the divided states of America.
