Working for Real Meals food company, Mrs. Shelton has inspired me and many other grown ups and children to eat right. Her cookbook has helped me and many other human beings to realise what we are putting in our mouths. She is the chef at Eagle Creek Academy, and makes not only healthy food, but tasty food! Mrs. Shelton puts in only healthy ingredients into her food, and ends up making a school full of children happy and healthy. I even asked a few students at the school, and all agreed that they all love her food. "Every day, i keep coming back for more" said a middle schooler. keep up the great work Mrs. Shelton!

I love the stunning photographs in my Barefoot Contessa cookbooks.

My kind of cookbook stack. See note.

My current favorite is _The BOLD Vegetarian Chef_, by Micheal Charney, who graduated from the Natural Gourmet Cooking School where I desire to go just as soon as I get my PhD, or someone sends me $5000 for tuition, whichever comes first.

I currently use GIMP to edit my photos. I edit almost all of my photos....sometimes as simple as cropping or straightening....sometimes adding multiple filters and scripts. After I cropped the photo, I used the cloning tool to remove a bunch of the bumps, bruises and scratches and then I added a vibrant color filter. After a little tweaking of the color contrast the photo is ready to go.

Cooking Everyday was inspired by my love for cooking and the importance on preparing food for yourself everyday. The book includes some of my recipes, as well as consumer

tips, health facts, and advice on cooking. Illustrations for the cover were drawn by hand and made up of kitchen utensils that you would use for daily cooking. I literally took items out of my cabinets and drawers, put them in front of me, drew them, and then made the drawings into a vector pattern using Illustrator. This pattern can be used for collateral to be sold with the cookbook, such as hot pads, aprons and towels. One typeface was chosen and used throughout the entire book for its playful personality and legibility. The color pallet was created to resemble vegetable soup, since the recipes in the book are mostly vegetarian.

'scuse blurriness, it's a camphone shot. i've lived here 2 years and this is as far as i've gotten. it's about half the cookbook collection.

This is a great little cookbook that my friend Michelle found at an antique store in the midwest and brought back for me. I can't find a copyright date on it, but I love it! The inside cover reads "Even before you cook with Spry your own eyes will tell you how superior it is to ordinary shortenings. Spry is so much whiter, glossier, and smoother. It looks so fresh and sweet, so inviting." I've never thought of shortening as inviting, but whatever.

I got this rice cooker cookbook the other day as a Christmas gift from my aunt & uncle. It'll go great with my new rice cooker...

Here is one of four roughs that will be done for a church cookbook. Let me know what I can improve. Thanks.

Someone gave me a vintage cookbook (for Crisco!) and this note was tucked inside. I thought it was charming.
