Strobist info: a single Vivitar 283 was placed on the floor, triggered by a Wein Digital Peanut Slave from the T1i's popup flash. The circuit board was placed on a double layer of semi-opaque plastic, with the light from the flash shining up through it.

Snail Run is a game + game controller designed by Li Hui Hui, Ou Yang and Hou Zhen Long during the ENIAROF workshop at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing. The workshop was organised by Antonin Fourneau, Douglas Edric Stanley and Cheng-Liang Wang with assistance from Linekernel and Robin Moretti. It was financed by France-China 50, in celebration of 50 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries; The Central Academy of Fine Arts; and The Aix-en-Provence School of Arts.

For any gamers the image needs no introduction, for those who don't play console games it's a close-up of the buttons on a PS3 controller.
First test of a home made BLDC controller. It's driving a rewound Towerpro 5330 RC outrunner motor, that's been modded by fitting Hall sensors internally for position feedback. A small start up problem needs to be solved, but the main part of the controller and power stages all seem to work well. It's capable of operation at 72V and 120A.
Because the N64 controller has a rounded top, the d-pad is slightly taller on one side, which is why there is a notch there (so it can only be installed the proper way).
