My father was a big Great Western fan and modelled them. I saw these second hand H&M controllers at a model railway show and was immediately taken back 40 years !
These were made in the days when electric motors drew 2 amps, given that new small motors draw 0.5 amp or less I would not risk a modern loco model on one of these now.

Tram 220 is one of a series of 20 build in 1924 by Allan for the RETM. Originally it had 1-axle bogies of the Delmez system. These bogies appeared to give many problems and were around 1930 replaced by a fixed 2-axle truck. They kept their nickname "Delmez".
Repair of my xbox 360 Controller.
Left Analog Stick was seriously worn and loose to the point it wasn't controlling my games correctly and more often than not have a mind if its own, luckily the same analog stick is used in the ps2 controller for which I had a duff one with good sticks so cribbed one from there, now all works like a new pad.
An Xbox controller sculpted out of rice krispy treats and covered in fondant with colored fondant details and painted lettering. This was my first attempt at sculpting rice krispy treats.
As a long time PC gamer I have struggled to get to grips - excuse the pun - with the Xbox 360 console style controller. While I find it easy to use and quite intuitive for casual games, driving games and platformers using it for FPS games feels unnatural.
I bought the Aimon XB Elite V mouse and numb-chuck control set to ease me into playing FPSs on the Xbox. Having tried it out with Borderlands I can say it has indeed improved my gaming experience and my performance.
Down side is that it is a bit of a pig to set up and customising the sensitivity isnt as easy as you are led to believe. Also I have found that the mouse resolution isn't as high as that I am used to with my gaming mouse on the PC.
