Using this for my imac 27 wallpaper (2560x1440 original size)
I had accidentally dropped my Godox flash controller on the hard floor and it landed face down shattering the screen. So now it no longer works and that meant I had to go buy a new one so I could continue to work the speed lights remotely. Alas, I was sad.

The Medulla or Garlic Nebula, CTB1, Abell 85, is a beautiful sight, appearing slightly larger than the fulll moon, it is about 140 light years across and 14,000 LY distant. It is invisible in a 10' f/5 exposure with narrow band filters, unless the image is stretched to the extreme. This image with almost a day of total exposure shows the beauty of this target.

Strobist Info; One SB - 800 directly above controller, shot thru dome diffuser and a white piece of paper, triggered via CLS. There are also various reflectors (white sheets of paper) carefully placed for some fill.
For a more detailed description of how this shot was accomplished, check out my blog at, (http://www.alfredoluna.com/blog/blogger.html).
Thank you.

Through the creations that I build, I hope to inspire other young (or perhaps older) LEGO builders to unleash their inner creativity. We all need a positive way to express ourselves, so let's allow LEGO to be an extension of us. Your creativity belongs to you, and nobody can take that away. Build what you want to build, and how you want to build it.
Not an image from where I'm working, but probably from this restaurant's former industrial past. Whether an original feature or a bit of set dressing was unclear.
On 31st October 2012, the GB Railfreight shift operations controller, at what was originally the Tees-side Cast Products control building (TCP), surveys General Electric 6-wheel diesel-electric 268 'Kirkleatham' (Works No.5465 built in 1977) shunting flat wagons in the 'Lackenby Grid' exchange sidings serving SSI UK Ltd and Tata Steel, Teesside. GB Railfreight had been contracted to take over the responsibility of all internal rail operations at Redcar and Lackenby, using the inherited General Electric locos, as well as procured Di8 locos for use on the torpedo wagon duties, but the 'marriage' was sadly short-lived, lasting a mere three yeas before SSI UK went into liquidation.

Such a nice chap! I was trying to cross the road but it was all blocked because of road works. So the kind traffic controller said "come follow me, but first you have to take my picture!" I was wearing my camera you see. I am sure he was joking but I put up my camera and took his picture. He roared with laughter and said, "oh no! I'll be all over the internet now!'. You sure are!

I got to hike with my drone out into the Bisti Badlands last Sept 19th, but things didn't work out. Conditions were good, but (1) it took a long time to wait for occasional hikers to pass by, and (2) I couldn't control the drone from the app. I was flying blind, so I cut the attempt short. This was about the best I could do.
Later I realized that my protective rim on the phone was preventing a good connection with the controller. Live & learn.
