On Sept. 14, American Foreign Service Association President Ambassador Barbara Stephenson participated in a panel discussion, “Is American Diplomacy at Risk?” The event was sponsored by the U.S. Foreign Policy and National Security Program at American University. Amb. Stephenson acknowledged that American diplomacy is at risk, but encouraged A.U. students to pursue their dreams of joining the Foreign Service, promising to do her best as AFSA president to restore a healthy career path for them. King's Cross Station is a major railway terminal in London serving trains arriving from and departing for the north of the country. 500 million pounds are currently being spent to redevelop the station, including a new Western Concourse pictured above. The project is being conducted in several phases, with part of the work targeted to conclude in time for the 2012 Olympic Games to be hosted in London.

The old library at Utah State is coming down. The clock stopped a week ago and they removed the webcam from the roof. I wish they had kept both running.
