i am now realizing that there were two factors which caused my previous ripple project to be doomed. 1. bad color choices. i have avoided those this time by using one brand of yarn with a nice, matching palette as well as the random stripe generator. and 2. yarn that was too small. the previous ripple was in dk. this one is in worsted on a bigger hook. this is a very good thing!
