constructive criticism is highly appreciated; thanks for your comments/thoughts/critics!

Freaky shadows and traffic light trails on Tower Bridge after a very constructive day of shooting around some of London's amazing sights.

We started at Eros at 2pm then:

Divers - Picadilly Circus.

Boat and Weather Vane down the Haymarket.

Trafalgar Square Fountain fun.

Household Cavalry.

Gurka Memorial.

RAF statue.

London Eye from the northside.

Battle of Britain Memorial.

Big Ben & Underground signs at Westminster Station.

Block of flats next to MI5 from Westminster Bridge.

Flock of Starlings at the London Eye.

Long Exposure shots of the Houses of Parliement from the southside.

London Eye Long Exposure shots.

Several shots walking along the Southbank.

Millenium Bridge & St.Pauls from the southside Long Exposure.

Natwest Tower and City shots.

Southwark Catherderal.

London Bridge Long Exposure shots.

HMS Belfast Long Exposure shots.

Little Fountains in the More London Plaza.

Tower Bridge and Tower of London.

and lastly the traffic shots on Tower Bridge.

We were knackered after all that lot - but it was most excellent fun and a great learning experience for all concerened ! I can highly recomend it as a photography 'day-trip' for anyone going to London. It's not a long walk at all and there are plenty of 'pitstops' on the way and you feel very safe too.

(even if one of the things learned was the intollerance of tripods in Westminster and almost everywhere else !) lol.

So Eva is very excited to be selected the best actress in TNBT1. She thought she would review all the contestants and give them constructive critiques on their first challenge: Waves, she thought they would maybe find it helpful.

You all did very nice work and there is a lot of potential in this group, Eva wishes everyone the best of luck, and may the odds ever be in your favor ;)

Challenge One: Waves

-Ashy: I love the style you chose, nice color coordination. You look beautiful, I think you could have done a little more with your angles though to just make your photo pop more. But I think you did well overall.

- Rebecca: I think your stunning, you managed to successfully pull off a photo with no direct eye contact, this isn't always easy to do. I like the color composition of this photo as well, I think you could have turned this into a wondeful bodyshot too.. I really like this photo, it is one of my favorites as well!

-Mina: I think there is something that reminds me of an underwater Cinderella with this photo. I think it is a nice job, I like how you added some angles with your body, it gives viewers a lot to look at. I find myself wondering what exactly you are looking at, I think this picture could tell an interesting story.

-Jamy: I personally prefer option one. Your gorgeous! I get that from this photo, however I do not see alot of modeling going on, perhaps you could have added some arm extensions or even just had direct eye contact with the camera. I am really interested in seeing you progress, I know you have what it takes!

-Jessi: You look so happy! I think that is refreshing to see in a fellow model! You seem very playful, I would have liked to see a little more variety in your pose though. You did capture your personality in the photo which is important for models to do, so nice job.

-Ryan: You are such a unique guy! Your very handsome and I think you would be hard to forget. You made an impression though which is good to do in the modeling world :). I will only say that this photo looks to me like your sitting and sunbathing, your pose is a little rigid for being underwater, but overall it was good.

-Aro: Your giving off a very cool vibe in this photo, it looks to me like your attending an underwater rave! You seem to be in deep concentration... I like the way the water looks like your at the bottom of a lake with the sun shining, nice job.

-Zoe: Your makeup looks flawless, I am immediately drawn into that! I think I would have liked to see you wear a pink bikini though it would really pop your makeup, I just dont think this blue magnifies your eyes enough. But I do like that you look so peaceful in this shot!

-Reginia: Ok, so my personal faveof your options is your option one, it looks like an aeropostale bikini ad to me, you have a versatile face that I think can work for different brands and styles. You made a very good impression with this pic!

-Sweettina: Ok, so I love this! You have a great pose and I love the way your hair is, you are the focus of this photo. You look very gorgeous! This is one of my top three faves!

-Jennifer: You did wonderful, this is a great pose. Your facial structure, your eyes, your hair, and makeup all pop! I think this is one of my favorites of this week! Wonderful!

-Julie: I love this! You look so comfortable but still kept your model side! Beautiful color composition!

-Melita: I like that you took a chance and did something a little different with your props! That is a good trait for a model to have. I think if your connected your eyes with the camera your photo would be a little stronger, but I still must say you had a great idea!

Anyways I hoped this was helpful :) I look forward to seeing all of your photos!

There is a statue of a lion at the stairs going down to the Western Wall. I put the camera on the head of the lion and photographed. When I posted the photo on Facebook I received two Constructive Comments:

a. Surreal, looks like the Taj Mahal.

b. Difficult to identify at first glance.

In Facebook, generally, people make encouraging comments like great, gorgeous, charming, but the comments that I quoted above are constructive comments, and any constructive comment is worth a thousand encouraging comments.

Constructive criticism, or constructive analysis, is a compassionate attitude towards the person qualified for criticism. Having higher experience, gifts, respect, knowledge in specific field and being able to verbally convince at the same time, this person is intending to uplift the other person materially, morally, emotionally or spiritually. For high probability in succeeding compassionate criticism, the critic has to be in some kind of healthy personal relationship with the other one, which is normally a parent to child, friend to friend, teacher to student, spouse to spouse or any kind of recognized authority in specific field. Hence the word constructive is used so that something is created or visible outcome generated rather than the opposite. Participatory learning in pedagogy is based on these principles of constructive criticism, focusing on positive examples to be emulated over precepts to be followed.

There can be tension between friendly support and useful criticism. A critic might usefully help an individual artist to recognize what is poor or slapdash in their body of work, but the critic may appear harsh and judgmental in the process. Useful criticism is a practical part of constructive criticism.

Virginia Lawyers Divorce Rockbridge Constructive Desertion

Holdings:

The Virginia Court made the following holding:

A spouse is not justified in leaving the other unless the conduct of the other is sufficient to establish the foundation of a judicial proceeding for divorce. This principle remains applicable to claims of constructive desertion. A spouse may not break off cohabitation and successfully claim constructive desertion unless the other’s conduct is sufficient to establish the foundation of a divorce proceeding. Nevertheless, a spouse may be free from legal fault in breaking off cohabitation, and hence entitled to support and maintenance, even though he or she cannot establish the other’s conduct constituted the foundation of a proceeding for divorce.

Constructive criticism appreciated!

Constructive criticism is appreciated please! I'm really working on mastering the ambient highlight and shadow feeling in a space. Ambient exposure (without lamp on) blended with a flash exposure (with lamp on). In PS, I cloned out a mop that was in the far back doorway and added just a touch of lamp glow.

Constructive criticism is welcome.

Architectural Collage Making

Architectural scholars have long compared Crown Hall to the Greek Temples of antiquity. The consistencies of massing range from the upset of the first floor upon a stylobate and the tall, vertical columns, to the expansive horizontality of the rooftop/pediment. The collaged images of the Parthenon under reconstruction and Crown Hall during construction point out additional ways in which the two relate. Just as remnants of antiquity require regular restoration efforts, so too are the landmark works of early modernism finding themselves in need of increasingly comprehensive restorations.

The ongoing hostage crises known as "light-rail construction" continues endlessly in downtown Phoenix.

This 1.5-billion-dollar boondoggle was sold to the voters with the false argument that it will help the environment by reducing the number of drivers on Phoenix streets. The number of drivers who will ditch their cars to take the train will be too small, even according to government estimates, to make much improvement in pollution.

But meanwhile, no one seems to have considered that between the riders and the taxpayers, the people of Phoenix are going to have to come up with 1.5 billion dollars for initial construction, and evn more for salaries, maintenance, etc. When Phoenicians begin seeing those funds disappearing from their household budgets, they are naturally going to try to replace those funds by earning more money. The increased economic activity that results will have its own negative impact on the environment -- probably more than enough to cancel out any benefit from the light rail system and possibly enough to make pollution worse instead of better.

Meanwhile, construction ravages the entire city and the end seems nowhere in sight. The only kind of vehicle suitable for use downtown is a moon buggy.

Constructive feedback if you can, please! :) Be as honest as you can! :D
