Thanks for taking the time to view my image. Your comments, faves & constructive criticism are greatly appreciated.
I use my cell phone and I am a happy clicker.
When I become a grown up I will have a real camera like you guys.
But for now this is it.
I'm a big fan of the moon and the stars and should of course not upload photos of nightshots.
But I do it anyway.
Because I like it.
I am actually Evathrilled that I captured Orion, with a cell phone, lol.
I appreciate all comments in how to improve my shots, I am an eager learner.
So if you ever have any constructive criticism I would love to hear that ♥
Alternative title: Tunnel Vision
Nothing spectacular.. but again from last year's archives.. processed it a little bit, the zoom effect was done during the shot by rotating the lens, not during post process. Camera was hand held, so there is a bit of shake.. but, I think it still came out good.
Don't know which orientation (one more in the comments) looks better to posted both.
As always, thanks for your visit and comments. And yes, keep your constructive criticism flowing.
Have a great weekend.
Polly's Schoolhouse is named after Jose Policarpio "Polly" Rodriguez a founder of the J. P. Rodrigues Settlement (aka Polly, Texas) and nearby Bandera, TX. The settlement included Polly's Fort, Schoolhouse, General Store, Post Office and Chapel. It is one of the few historical Tejano towns still remaingin in Texas.
As always, your faves and comments are appreciated. Constructive criticism and suggestions are especially welcome as I believe they help to make me a better photographer. Thank you for taking the time to look at my photos.

Hi All!
An image from spring 2016 migration. Snow Buntings live and breed in the Arctic which is where this bird was headed. This was the first time I'd seen a Snow Bunting in its breeding plumage.
Thanking you humbly for your views, comments and faves. Constructive criticism always welcome! Do have a wonderful day!

Constructive things to do when you can't sleep on a warm summer's night - take the dog (for protection - as if!) and tripod (to hold the camera - of course) out in the countryside, away from light pollution and see what you can get
I can't understand why many people are scared of bees. They won't harm you unless you mess with them. Isn't this beauty cute?

So this is a quick build that I put together to test out some lighting techniques. I hope you all like it and feel free to leave constructive criticism! My next build should be done in a week or so if I have time so look forward to that.
Cheers, .NP.

Last September we spent a weekend at Balls 29, a big experimental rocket launch event in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada - the same place where Burning Man takes place. About 300 rocketeers gathered to launch high power rockets in the middle of the playa (dry lakebed). A few years back I did a photoshoot on the playa with this chair. Since then it became a tradition to bring our throne back to the desert every time we go.
I processed a balanced, a photographic, and a paintery HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

Chur, the oldest town in Switzerland is always a treat to visit. The city is located in the Swiss Alps, and is the regional capital of the Canton Graubünden (Grisons.) We had dinner in the old part of town near the Obertor, a gate to enter the old town.

Painted Hills are a landscape of alternating bands of red and tan rocks,
The Painted Hills of Oregon are a part of the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, which, as the name implies, are home to a variety of fossils.
But finding fossils takes work. That is not the case with the Painted Hills, although you do have to travel for several miles on back-roads. That said, the drive is pretty easy.
This panorama is a composite of nine 35 Mpix photos.

This was taken over Burrill Lakes on the New South Wales south coast. We stumbled across this location accidentally when looking for a nice sunrise location for the next morning. This is my first attempt at a panorama shot. I hope you like it!

I've been so busy of late I haven't been out to do any landscape photography for what felt like an age, so when I had a spare few hours last night I dashed down to Rosebery Topping to check out the sunset and see how the heather was looking.
Well the heather was better than the sunset but I still got this shot that I like.
This is 2 shots taken in landscape mode and stitched together in PS.

I grabbed my gear and went to a nearby footbridge in Cupertino, California. I love the symmetry of one-point perspective scenes. Stanley Kubrick was a master using one-point perspectives in his movies.
