I have been battling with trying to do a triptych and any constructive criticism most welcome! HSS!

Got for Christmas 24 color pencils from Faber-Castell. But not for arts, decoration or coloring, nor for painting. The intention, inspired by some other photos do create some nice macros.

This photo was created for the Flickr group Macro Mondays, the theme is New, something that is new for me or represents hope for the new year.

Can’t say Macro photography is new for me, at the moment I own 3 Macro lenses, on from Canon a 100 mm, one from Tamron a 180 mm and the newest one from Fuji a 80 mm. However buying pencil for the purpose of photographing them is new, even better the were a gift. So, I am full of hope and looking forward to create some nice macros and other photos with the new pencils

For starters a series of 3 photos mostly of different shades of red and blue and one BW. Back. As underground some kitchens cutting board or chopping board to get some more texture. Light is simple, sun and for getting less dark shadows a mirror behind. Or even double shadows from the sun and the mirror.

Feel free to leave comments and constructive feedback. No P1/C1 or seen in group and similar.

Kuddel's eyes are so special. Sometimes when it's getting dark, I wonder if they'll go on glowing ...

On my trip to the Swiss Alps near the Austrian border last year I was jet lagged, I woke up early, and started an hike before sunrise up the mountain from my hometown Schuders. I reached the top of the mountain ridge shortly after sunrise.

I processed a realistic, a photographic, and a paintery HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

Thank you for visiting - ♡ with gratitude! Fave if you like it, add comments below, like the Facebook page, order beautiful HDR prints at qualityHDR.com.

Series: Walks through Berlin

An open house built by the Swiss architects E2A as a communicative editorial workshop for the cooperative daily newspaper TAZ at the southern end of Friedrichstrasse

Constructive criticism gratefully accepted.

Only one after noon, sky mostly grey in grey, late afternoon some blue sky, just not enough time to take pictures, evaluate them and then come back and improv on them.

There are three of them, one for living and two commercial buildings with many businesses. This is a realtor’s dream, location, location and location.

But photographing them is more of a challenge. There is a limited choice of locations. To take them all, just from the other side of the river Rhine (Rechts Rheinisch. Or as a panorama from behind.

Other than this from the bride, Severinsbrücke, from the floor. But they are huge, even with very wide angle from the floor, there is either not enough space, some other buildings, or converging lines.

Designed by Hadi Teherani, they won several prices.

As always, if you enjoy the photo, feel free to leave a constructive comment, a like

Umbralejo,

is an uninhabited town of the province of Guadalajara (Spain), located in the Eastern slope of the mountain range of Ayllón, annexed from the first half of the 19th century to the municipality of La Huerce, autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha.

In 1971, the Institute for the Conservation of Nature (ICONA) expropriated its buildings and lands from its inhabitants. Since 1984, together with Búbal (Huesca) and Granadilla (Cáceres), it forms part of the Program for the Recovery and Educational Use of Abandoned Peoples (PRUEPA), promoted by the Ministries of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment, Education, Culture and Sports and Promotion, which has meant the arrival of groups of young people, mostly from the urban world, whose objectives include their physical and cultural recovery, which has prevented their complete deterioration. This work has made possible the conservation and maintenance of the buildings that make up the urban area of the town, traditionally built with mud and slate, according to the technical procedures of the so-called black architecture, "characteristic of this region and consisting of dark masses of slate stones with roofs of the same, narrow doors and windows and auxiliary elements such as ovens, tainas, washrooms and cemeteries, all made with the same materials, so that they give an appearance of homogeneity and purity to this unique constructive modality in Castilla.

Umbralejo,

Well after more than a year I eventually went on a proper street shoot. No shopping, no family, just me and my camera(s) in Hannover for 3 hours.

This is the style of street photography that I was aiming for today, but I did get a good helping of candid people shots too :0)

Thanks for taking the time to view my image. Your comments, faves & constructive criticism are greatly appreciated.

I went to the Pigeon Point Lighthouse for sunset with the long lens, or so I thought. Clouds came in on this iconic lighthouse located on the California coast south of San Francisco, and obscured the sun. So I decided to take some close up shots of the nice flower garden.
