Look in to my eyes...
Sri Lankan leopard (Panthera pardus kotiya) taken at Yala NP Sri Lanka. This big cat walked towards our jeep, then crossed to the other side. See the focal length.
View in large.
The Sri Lankan leopard has a tawny or rusty yellow coat with dark spots and close-set rosettes, which are smaller than in Indian leopards.

Flamingos are incredibly photogenic. This guy searches some food in the water, on the left side we see the feet of another one. I really love to photograph these birds, they are so fascinating.

And: I don't like Comment-Codes, "awards", or such groups. Because of that, Comment codes, "Awards" and invitations in such groups will be deleted. There is an Explanation at my profile.
So, if you want to say something about my photo, it will be really appreciated, no matter if it's about liking or some constructive criticism. Your own thoughts and words will mean much more to me than a universal-text.
Also please don't post pictures in the commenting-area. You could post them much better in your own photo stream. ;-D

Sri Lankan Sloth bear playing with a piece of cloth which was on the road at Yala NP Sri Lanka.
This bear started playing with it then ignored, left the road. Later our Driver removed it.

Series: Walks through Berlin
An open house built by the Swiss architects E2A as a communicative editorial workshop for the cooperative daily newspaper TAZ at the southern end of Friedrichstrasse
Been battling with the thoughts about uploading the landscape beach shot that this comes from, with a bit of tone work, a rotate and crop, a bit of dodge and burn for an abstract late entry to sliders Sunday, I decided its simple but I quite liked so I'll probably upload at some point.
This shows the lines of debris left after a stormy tide retreated, with the shadows of sundown kind of looked like they were sliding off of the beach, HSS! hope it is ok!
Happy a great day, happy Sliders Sunday!

As it is a horrible drizzly day here I have been constructively wasting my morning playing with my macro lens. This is one of my efforts to brighten up a dull day!

During the pandemic we drove South along the California coast on the iconic Highway 1. It's a gorgeous drive, with ever changing scenery. I love the rugged nature. We approached a tunnel shortly after passing Lucia, which is part of Big Sur.
I processed a balanced, a photographic, and a paintery HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

I took this image a year ago after Christmas from the balcony of my mom's home in Schuders, a small mountain village located in the Swiss Alps near the Austrian border. It's beautiful up there.
I processed a photographic and a balanced HDR photo from two RAW exposures, blended them, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

C-FYWT, a de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Mk. III Turbo-Beaver, heading south on taxiway "Bravo" to runway 33 at Toronto Buttonville Municipal Airport in Markham, Ontario.
Serial number 1642TB23 began its career on May 25, 1966.
The 55-year-old remains in fine fettle.
Today, it is owned and operated by Pioneer Construction Inc. of Sudbury, Ontario - approximately 210 statute miles / 340 kilometres north of its birthplace in Toronto.
Only one after noon, sky mostly grey in grey, late afternoon some blue sky, just not enough time to take pictures, evaluate them and then come back and improv on them.
There are three of them, one for living and two commercial buildings with many businesses. This is a realtor’s dream, location, location and location.
But photographing them is more of a challenge. There is a limited choice of locations. To take them all, just from the other side of the river Rhine (Rechts Rheinisch. Or as a panorama from behind.
Other than this from the bride, Severinsbrücke, from the floor. But they are huge, even with very wide angle from the floor, there is either not enough space, some other buildings, or converging lines.
Designed by Hadi Teherani, they won several prices.
As always, if you enjoy the photo, feel free to leave a constructive comment, a like

While not as scenic as Wahclella Falls, Munra Falls gives you the opportunity to literally "reach out and touch" as you cross the footbridge while heading upstream of Tanner Creek.
Unfortunately this scenic beauty was hit by the 2017 Eagle Creek Fire and it will most likely be years before the area is returned to something close to the condition captured here during one of my 2015 photo adventures.
Located outside of Portland, Oregon in the Columbia River Gorge.
Constructive criticism always appreciated.
We left the Death Valley in California towards sunset. The road descends into a valley, leading towards Panamint Springs.

I went to the Pigeon Point Lighthouse for sunset with the long lens, or so I thought. Clouds came in on this iconic lighthouse located on the California coast south of San Francisco, and obscured the sun. The wood structure in the foreground is a piece of the hull of the Point Arena shipwreck, which sank in rough seas in 1913 in front of the lighthouse.
I processed a balanced and a paintery HDR photo from two sets of two RAW exposures, blended and manually focus stacked them, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
