I captured this image using intentional camera movement (ICM). Not to everyone's taste, but I'm teaching myself new techniques to learn about my camera and what I can achieve with it to create different images to my normal flora and fauna.

Thank you for taking the time to view my images. I am happy to receive constructive feedback so as to try and further improve my photography.

So yeah, I'm back. Had my last exam today. Whipped this toghether in 2 hours, still a little bit rusty ( constructive criticism is much appreciated).

So how's everybody doing ? :p

This is a meadow brown in the evening light. Similar species are the gatekeeper, which prefers to rest with its wings open, and the small heath, which is smaller.

Among the bird world’s most skillful fliers, Cooper’s Hawks are common woodland hawks that tear through cluttered tree canopies in high speed pursuit of other birds. You’re most likely to see one prowling above a forest edge or field using just a few stiff wingbeats followed by a glide. (Cornell).

A crane along with a highrise structure under construction reflect on windows in another building across the street where four construction workers are working.

Weevils are incredibly small (about 4 mm). For people with very modest photographic gear without a macro lens – like me - it’s hard to take photos of them.
