I thought I have another go at this shot of the Sydney Harbour bridge.

Always thought there is something missing to get that punch I wanted.

After many hours in CS6 I finally like it.

Note the reflection is added in Photoshop as you can see on the original post from June.

Constructive criticism would be good here, as I am tiring to improve.

Thanks for looking

Norbert

when we arrived in a beautifull bay, with almost no people,we saw a group of 10 dolphins show up.

they jumped and stayed for about 10 minutes.

This Coopers Hawk was feeding on a fallen tree that crossed the Seine River. I was able to take this picture from my kayak as I drifted downstream towards the hawk. He stayed in place on the log until I passed directly under him, at which time he flew off to a higher perch.

Among the bird world’s most skillful fliers, Cooper’s Hawks are common woodland hawks that tear through cluttered tree canopies in high speed pursuit of other birds. You’re most likely to see one prowling above a forest edge or field using just a few stiff wingbeats followed by a glide. (Cornell).

A great blue heron was constructing a nest this morning at Loxahatchee NWR in Boynton Beach, FL. This was not the largest piece of nesting material that he brought, but the wingspan here was appealing to me.

Constructive criticism appreciated!

Creeping gingerly out of my comfort zone by tackling a portrait and choosing monochrome, which I personally find challenging. Please feel free to let me have thoughts, any constructive criticism is most welcome.

Another from the moody boots folder archive, but a frame not seen.

It was a golden sunset with fabulous clouds, pretty similar to the previous mono from the evening, this time with a splash of colour.

In shot is the beach being watched by an Anothony Gormley Ironman statue and a passenger ship entering the mersey past the windfarm.

Comments, faves and constructive crit., always very welcome, graphics not preferred

(From All About bird) - Although some start breeding at two years of age, Sandhill Cranes may reach the age of seven before breeding. They mate for life—which can mean two decades or more—and stay with their mates year-round. Juveniles stick close by their parents for 9 or 10 months after hatching.

I am most fascinated by the spiral stairs in the Allerheiligenhofkirche in Munich. Actually they are very unadornded, but difficult to photograph in this lighting. But I've tried it again and again - from the hand and mostly in a hurry.

The liquid project nr: 40

The goal: make 50 shots related with liquid.

---------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------

Adopted in August 1946, the Grumman F8F-1 Bearcat served as the Blue Angels' first main aircraft type. The following year, Lieutenant Commander Bob Clarke created the Diamond Formation, which would become the team's most famous maneuver. The Bearcat, though never seeing combat in American livery, sported the most powerful engine available—the Pratt & Whitney R-2800—and could climb significantly higher and faster than its battle-tested predecessor, the F6F Hellcat. The Bearcat was also Grumman's last piston-engined fighter and the Blue Angels' last propeller-driven aircraft before the transition to the Grumman F9F Panther in July 1949.

After months of tinkering with the design and ordering parts, I have finally finished my pride and joy of MOCs. Last summer, I had the amazing opportunity to see the Blues up close, and I knew I had to build something to commemorate the occasion. After some research, I discovered that the Blue Angels became the demonstration team we all know and love while flying the Bearcat. And, seeing that no one has ever built a Blue Angels Bearcat in LEGO, I accepted the challenge, and now that I've finished it, I couldn’t be more proud. At 1:45 scale, it features a spinning propeller, retractable tailwheel, and—in true Navy fashion—folding wingtips.

Tail shot here.

As always, I would appreciate any comments/constructive criticism you may have.

Soli Deo Gloria, my friends,

Greyson (BSB)
