Im Schloß!
Am 12. Juni 2016 war ich mit Freunden im Berliner Bezirk Mittezwischen dem Kupfergraben sowie der Baustelle des „Berliner Schlosses“ bzw. „Humboldtforum“ unterwegs und habe dabei diese Aufnahmen gemacht.
Réalisation d'un centre thermal et aquatique comprenant des espaces de stationnement et une résidence hôtelière dans le cadre du projet Grand Nancy Thermal.
• Réhabilitation et extension de la piscine intérieure.
• Réhabilitation et extension du bâtiment de la piscine ronde.

As you can see from my photographs work has resumed on the multi-million Greystones harbour and marina development project, with the first of more than 350 new homes expected to be offered for sale by April 2016. Because of the weather I did not photograph the new houses. The project has already seen the old Victorian era harbour replaced by a new structure with south and north piers, a large marina and ongoing work on five new clubhouses for sea scouts, divers, sailors, rowers and anglers. Also included in the project is a coastguard station, a new town square, a 16-acre public park, a new beach and marine-related shops and leisure facilities. It should be interesting to see if the ‘Public Areas’ are truly public and if the remain so for more than a year or two … I say this because there are many signs indicating that Fishing, Swimming or Jumping was not allowed. I will visit again later in the year, assuming that the weather improves.
Wegen der Staubentwicklung bei den Abrissarbeiten am ehemaligen Quelle- (später Hertie-) Warenhaus am Koblenzer Zentralplatz wird Wasser auf die Abbruchstelle gespritzt.
Erbaut 1968 wurde das Gebäude von August bis Oktober 2010 abgerissen. An seiner Stelle entsteht das Forum Mittelrhein.
Das Forum Mittelrhein entsteht nach Entwürfen des Architekturbüros Benthem Crouwel (Aachen).

Bauarbeiten am S-Bhf. Yorckstraße (Großgörschenstraße) - S1 - für den Austauschen der alten Brücken des Gleises Richtung Wannsee / Potsdam finden bereits seit vielen Monaten statt und sind inzwischen abgeschlossen; jetzt ist die Gegenrichtung dran.
Vor vielen Monaten wurde endlich ein Baustellenschild aufgestellt und ein Ende der Bauarbeiten tatsächlich für den 20.12.2014 (!) angekündigt. Lassen wir uns überraschen mit wie viel Verspätung dieses Bauprojekt erledigt wird.
Inzwischen gibt es Veröffentlichungen, die als Endtermin für die Bauarbeiten das Frühjahr 2015 bzw. September 2015 nennen. Mal sehen was dann stimmt!
Sollten Sie doch noch bis zum 20. Dezember 2014 fertig werden? Die „Deutsche Bahn AG hat natürlich nicht den Termin geschafft, denn bis Anfang März 2015 sind die Bauarbeiten immer noch nicht beendet! Aber vielleicht warten „Sie“ ja auf die Beendigung der Bauarbeiten im alten „Nordsüd-S-Bahntunnel“ am 3. Mai 2015 ab, um dann alles zusammen wieder freizugeben?!
The bridge in the foregournd has just been rebuilt. It will soon be reopened. The monorail station behind the bridge is still in the process of reconstruction. When it's finished it will resemble the original structure.
If you are interested in cameras and lenses: I took this series with an old manual focus Vivitar lens from the mid-70s (a 35mm 1:1.9 Auto Wide-Angle) on a Nikon D3000.
Tindal Square during the ongoing 'Tindal Square and Market Road Public Realm Improvements' construction works taking place thru January-October 2022 in the City of Chelmsford in the County of Essex (UK).
Tindal Square and the surrounding area including the historic Shire Hall which is included in the project feature numerous times elsewhere in my photostream.
Tindal Square is named after Judge Nicolas Conyngham Tindal (1776-1846) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicholas_Conyngham_Tindal, a name synonymous with the history of Chelmsford.

Scarcity & Creativity Studio is a masters course in architecture at The Oslo School of Architecture & Design, in which I participated this winter/spring. This is a so-called "design and build" studio, where students get the chance to realize their own projects, for real clients. This semester we built a sauna w/ outdoor areas for the future art and culture production centre by the owner of Villa Lofoten, in Kleivan, Vestvågøy.

So, I worked for a contracting company for about a year. Here are some shots from the one time I broke out the camera on the job. I really enjoyed learning new things and getting to know these folks.
I am always pleasantly surprised whenever I get a roll of Acros back. I'm at a loss as to why I don't just always have the stuff on me at all times. Love the stuff!

The Consortium which constructs the Shelter above the Prehistoric Site of Akrotiri showed big progress during April 2010.

Редевелопмент участка бывшего Варшавского вокзала, выполненный в Санкт-Петербурге специалистами ФГИК "Размах" в период в 2012 году, объем демонтажа составил 199200 м3. Проект редевелопмента Варшавского вокзала является крупнейшим за всю историю Санкт-Петербурга и одним из наиболее интересных в истории ГК «Размах». Ввиду исторической ценности территории специалисты компании работали под пристальным вниманием общественности, а каждое действие согласовывалось с Всероссийским обществом охраны памятников. На данный момент на территории Варшавского вокзала идет реализация проекта строительства жилого комплекса от ГК«ЛенСпецСМУ».

This is part of a huge renovation project which started in 1995. The complete infrastructure of the 13.3 km long monorail line had to be replaced after 100 years of service. About 95% of this undertaking have already been finished. As of July 2012 the dismantling and reconstruction of the eastern terminus of the line has begun. This includes the renewal of the train shed with the storage sidings. The shed will be replaced by a modern construction which will be designed more or less in the traditional style. It will be much longer than the existing hall.
