Connection is the 9/4/17 topic for Macro Mondays, and this is my favorite connection: a fishing line connected to the eye of a bass lure. In this image, it's very thin braided nylon line connected to a Heddon Baby Lucky 13 lure, a lure that is roughly the length of my little finger.

...Listen!...It's that big woodpecker with the red head.

"...I don't hear it."

...Wow, can you feel that? There's a small earthquake happening right now!

..."I don't feel it."

...Hey, look, these ants are fighting.

"I don't have my glasses with me, Clancy."

Geez, Dad, how can you enjoy yourself out here when your senses are so dull?

"Well, I have sense enough to go for long walks with my enthusiastic dog pal, whom through his heightened zest for life I live vicariously."

...That makes perfect sense!

It's amazing how important it is to be electronically connected in this modern world, and how isolated it makes you feel when you can't access that connection. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but for many it's a definite reality.

BTW...in the last week I discovered just how nice it is to have access to public libraries...and their computers!!

Also...if you aren't backing up your files and photos, START! I can recommend Mozy online backup service...I am in the process of downloading ALL of the photos that I thought I had lost!!!.......^+^
