These are cables found in the depths of the drawers of my husband. More photos and description in the photostream...
It is not just an electrical connection. For me also means emotional connection... It's the relationship with my beloved husband, it's the awareness that I can always count on him. He helps and motivates me for action. Whenever I look at photos from my album, especially the technical ones, I feel the gratitude for his suport :)

Again, a portrait from Caroline. Our third photo session. This time we walked around in the city center of The Hague and concentrated on backlight and bokeh. This photo was taken in the palace garden. Thank you Caroline, it was a fun afternoon. Glad that I can post it.

Střekov Castle (German: Schreckenstein) is perched atop a cliff above the River Elbe, near the city of Ústí nad Labem in the Czech Republic. It was built in the 14th century to protect the waterway and collect duties on transported goods, the castle is renowned for its impressive views. It has enchanted a variety of visiting artists, most notably Goethe, Richard Wagner, and Karel Hynek Mácha.
History
Střekov Castle was built in 1316 for John of Luxembourg, the father of the Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV, to guard an important trade route to Germany. After changing hands several times, the castle was acquired by the Lobkowicz family in 1563. Its strategic importance led to occupations by Imperial Habsburg, Saxon, and Swedish forces during the Thirty Years' War, as well as successive sieges by Austrian and Prussian armies during the Seven Years' War. Although Střekov Castle was heavily damaged during those conflicts and abandoned as a military installation by the end of the 18th century, the 1800s saw many poets and artists visiting the castle, drawn by a new trend of interest in romantic ruins. Goethe declared the view from the castle's position above the Elbe to be the most beautiful in Central Europe, while Richard Wagner's opera Tannhäuser was supposedly inspired by his visit to Střekov. The castle was confiscated by the Nazi regime and later the Communist government, but was restituted to the Lobkowicz family in the early 1990s.

Střekov Castle is divided into two sections connected by an arched bridge spanning a natural moat—an unusual style for the 14th century, when it was first built. The castle’s semiround bastions, inspired by French architecture, are possibly the first example of that type of defensive design in Bohemia. The connecting round tower, a smaller tower guarding the castle entrance, and an irregular oblong section of the castle date back to the very earliest period of construction.

This is already my last photo from Plitvice Lakes National Park. It's really beautiful place :)
Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of the oldest and largest national parks in Croatia. Founded in 1949 and is in the mountainous karst area of central Croatia, at the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The national park is world-famous for its lakes arranged in cascades. Sixteen lakes can be seen from the surface. They are grouped into the 12 Upper Lakes (Gornja jezera) and the four Lower Lakes (Donja jezera). These lakes are a result of the confluence of several small rivers and subterranean karst rivers. The Plitvica Stream, flowing into the area of the lowest of the lakes, falls deep into the valley with a 78 m high Great Waterfall. It is the largest waterfall in Croatia. The lakes are renowned for their distinctive colors, ranging from azure to green, grey or blue. The colors change constantly depending on the quantity of minerals or organisms in the water and the angle of sunlight. In 1979, Plitvice Lakes National Park was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list, due to its outstanding and picturesque series of tufa lakes, caves, connected by waterfalls.

Park Narodowy Jezior Plitwickich – park narodowy w Chorwacji, położony w środkowej części kraju, założony w 1949 roku. Jego największą atrakcją jest 16 jezior krasowych połączonych ze sobą licznymi wodospadami, znanych jako Jeziora Plitwickie. Jeziora dzielą się na dwa zespoły połączone kaskadowo – Górne i Dolne Jeziora. Jeziora oddzielone są od siebie trawertynowymi groblami, na których tworzą się wodospady, których naliczono tutaj ponad 90. Potok Plitvica, dopływający po powierzchni otaczającej Plitwickie Jeziora wierzchowiny w rejon najniższego z jezior, spada w głąb doliny wysokim na 78 m Wielkim Wodospadem. Jest to największy wodospad Chorwacji. Jeziora słyną z charakterystycznych kolorów, od lazurowego po zielony, szary lub niebieski. Kolory zmieniają się w sposób ciągły w zależności od ilości minerałów lub organizmów w wodzie oraz kąta padania promieni słonecznych. Pierwszy rezerwat na tym terenie został założony w roku 1928. Park narodowy natomiast rozpoczął swą działalność w kwietniu 1949 r. W 1979 Park Narodowy Jezior Plitwickich znalazł się na liście Światowego Dziedzictwa Kulturalnego i Przyrodniczego UNESCO.
Position: The unique 12th-century Rocca Scaligero Castle was built on the remains of ancient Roman fortress and is an unmissable landmark of the spa resort of Sirmione on the Lago di Garda. The whole fortress is surrounded by water, which in ancient times was crucial in defending the city. It is connected to the mainland by a drawbridge. The fortress also included a fortified port. Sirmione is a comune and town located in the province of Brescia in the region of Lombardy, Italy.
