Don Mueang International Airport is one of two international airports serving the Bangkok Metropolitan Region, the other one being Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). Before Suvarnabhumi opened in 2006, Don Mueang was previously known as Bangkok International Airport
The airport is considered to be one of the world's oldest international airports and Asia's oldest operating airport. It was officially opened as a Royal Thai Air Force base on 27 March 1914, although it had been in use earlier. Commercial flights began in 1924, making it one of the world's oldest commercial airports. The airport consists of Terminal 1 for international flights and Terminal 2 for domestic flights which are connected by a unique glass exterior elevated walkway. The airport also featured an exterior walkway connected to the Amari hotel. The first commercial flight was an arrival by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.
In September 2006, Don Mueang Airport was closed and replaced by the newly opened Suvarnabhumi Airport, before reopening on 24 March 2007 after renovations. Since the opening of the new airport, it has become a regional commuter flight hub and the de facto low-cost airline hub. In 2015, it became the world's largest low cost carrier airport.

Lac Gaube, French Pyrinees. We went there in Spring and were not prepared for the 4 hours hike up the mountain, through the melting snow. The kids were very small and quite suffering as the way was not easy, but we never gave up. These views were the award. We all as family changed that day, learning about self motivation. In my case I fell in love with this mountains and that, I never imagined could happen. That feeling changed my life forever as it truly connected me with nature and landscapes

Izumo Taisha is one of Japan’s oldest and most revered Shinto shrines, deeply connected to the country’s ancient mythology. Walking through its sacred grounds feels like stepping back in time.

Cramond Island is a tidal island about one mile out in the Firth of Forth, near Edinburgh. It is connected to the mainland at low tide across the Drum Sands via a causeway running at the foot of a row of concrete pylons. These pylons were constructed as an anti-boat boom during the Second World War. At high tide the path is covered by several feet of seawater which cuts the island off from the mainland. This can be seen on the far left.

Cadillac Place, formerly the General Motors Building, is a landmark high-rise office complex located at 3044 West Grand Boulevard in the New Center area of Detroit, Michigan. It was renamed for the French founder of Detroit, Antoine Laumet de La Mothe, sieur de Cadillac
The ornate class-A office building was constructed of steel, limestone, granite, and marble between 1919 and 1923
In 2001 GM moved the last of its employees into the Renaissance Center on the Detroit River.[7] In 1999, General Motors transferred the property to New Center Development, Inc., a non-profit venture controlled by TrizecHahn Office Properties which acted as developer and began renovation on the upper floors which GM vacated in 2000.[8] The Annex was constructed shortly after the main building, and in the 1940s, it was connected to the adjacent Argonaut Building with a pedestrian bridge on the fourth floor. A parking structure was constructed to the east across Cass Avenue and also connected with a pedestrian bridge. A third bridge was constructed across Grand Boulevard in the early 1980s, to connect the building with New Center One and the St. Regis Hotel.
Government of Michigan—Cadillac Place[edit]
The building now houses several Government of Michigan agencies under a 20-year lease agreement approved in 1998. At the end of the lease, the State has the option to purchase the structure for $1.[9] The building's 2002 renovation to house State offices was one of the nation's largest historic renovation projects.
Upon completion it was renamed Cadillac Place as a tribute to Detroit's founder, Antoine Laumet de La Mothe, sieur de Cadillac.
Cadillac Place currently houses over 2,000 State employees including the Michigan Court of Appeals for District I. The building's former executive office suite serves as the Detroit office for Michigan's governor and attorney general, and several Justices of the Michigan Supreme Court have offices in the building.
The beautiful milky way connected with the waterfalls on earth! Unfortunately, it is a man-made connection because it is a composite image from 2 different shots taken from different time and different locations. After my first visit to this waterfalls knowing the direction will never meet the milky way galactic core, I decided to use one of my old milky way shot and try a composite with these crazy treeline. And quite happy with it! Although it is not actually taken at the spot, I'm quite happy with the result! And I hope you enjoy it!

The tiny town of Pegram, Idaho is connected with US highway 30 by Pegram Road. The thin black line crossing the valley is the main highway. This is a very sparsely populated part of Bear Lake County and the few residents here have a long way to go to buy a loaf of bread. They can be cut off by a snow storm, but the snowplow drivers do a great job keeping the road open
