The small white fishing arches from the turn of the century were established at a time when the islet was the center for the beachers, fishing, whaling, gear making and salt extraction. Today, the sea sheds serve as a holiday home.

This is the spot where we sat for hours, enjoyed the view and phoned families. Yes, I could only get cell signal on top of the mountains.

the power of legend can only truly be appreciated when you see yggdrasil loom up out of the fog at you and realise that you will shortly be on your way to another world

The down platform looking west. Truro was the final station on the Cornwall Railway, which was broad gauge only and ran from Truro to Plymouth; west of here the railway was built by the older, standard gauge West Cornwall Railway. The West Cornwall Railway was rebuilt in mixed gauge after it was connected to the rest of the railway network; the Cornwall Railway famously remained broad gauge only until the end of the broad gauge in May 1892.

The platforms in the picture are 2 and 3 - platform 1 is the Falmouth bay, past the footbridge.

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. In the beautiful low winter sunlight I just loved the way that the stripes on his jacket followed the line of the railing. Enjoy!

The #MacroMondays theme for 2/5/18 is #Monochrome. This is a 2"x2" sepia image of a section of the halter my wife Sammy had for her horse, when she was a young girl many decades ago.

Creativity is the power to connect the seemingly unconnected.

~ William Plomer

I believe that two people are connected at the heart, and it doesn't matter what you do, or who you are or where you live; there are no boundaries or barriers if two people are destined to be together.

Today it was one of those sunny autumn days with a crispy air and bright blue sky. In days like this I feel always that it's a little gift from universe so I went out for a walk in a forest near my house.

One thing I love about photography is that It's an awesome way to connect with nature and to just enjoy the silence, the colours and the peace. ( even when it sometimes means freezing your fingers, muddy jeans and hair full of leafs)

I'm quite proud of how this image turned out because very little editing went into this one, only a slight contrast adjustment and little expansion was all I did, so It makes me feel good :) maybe I'm finally moving in some direction with my photography.

Have great weekend everyone! :)
