The bridge is in the village of Furtio, near the source of the Acharistskali River. The bridge formerly connected the old roads in Skhaltistskali Gorge to the central roads passing through Acharistskali Gorge, thereby providing the shortest caravan road from Ardagani and Akhaltsikhe to the Black Sea Coast. The bridge has suffered some deterioration. The length of the main part of the bridge is 13.5 m; the width is 2.35 m, and the height is 2.20 m. Tedo Sakhokia provides an interesting description of the bridge, highlighting the professionalism of the builders who chose rocky soil as the foundation for the heads of the bridge. He explains how this remnant of the past is still standing today.

Eilean Donan (Scottish Gaelic: Eilean Donnain) is a small tidal island where three sea lochs meet, Loch Duich, Loch Long and Loch Alsh, in the western Highlands of Scotland. A picturesque castle that frequently appears in photographs, film and television dominates the island, which lies about 1 kilometre (5⁄8 mi) from the village of Dornie. Since the castle's restoration in the early 20th century, a footbridge has connected the island to the mainland.

When putting together a modular model, I always make a small test to see how the units, usually with different colors, have to be connected to form a corner.

This is how it looks like and this shape gave me the idea to use the striped paper for this model of which I showed you the single flat units all together yesterday, (See first comment box)

It reminds me of a kind of spaceship ;-))

Have a nice Thursday!

The castle was built by the Venetians in the early 13th c entury. It is among the largest castles in the Mediterranean area. At the south edge of the castle a fortified islet floats. Bourtzi, as it is called, a prison and place of executions during the Turkish Occupation, was built in 1500 and is connected to the Sea Gate of the castle with a paved tiny road.

Noordermolen Groningen (BW in Lightroom). This mill was built in 1888. This watermill works on electricity and wind. Visits possible.

So it's the Mosman ferry (my favourite Sydney ferry, lol).

The 'Supply', a First Fleet class catamaran, is approaching the Cremorne Point Wharf at sunset.

Photographed from the Cremorne Point Reserve, on the northern side of Sydney harbour.

Our ferries connect so many suburbs to the city, even some of the far western suburbs such as Parramatta.

So here is the cool Smooth Jazz artists, Mark Etheredge and Paul Brown, with the track: 'Connected'.

My big brother

My little eyes

are watching

All you say and do

And when I grow up

big and tall

I want to be like you.

My little ears

are listening

To everything you say

I am learning how

to grow up

To be like you

someday.

So be careful how

you teach me

To be the person

that you are.

You’re a knight in

shining armor

You’re my brightest

shining star.

"Nous le savons: la terre n'appartient pas à l'homme, c'est l'homme qui appartient à la terre.

Nous le savons: toutes choses sont liées. Tout ce qui arrive à la terre arrive aux fils de la terre.

L'homme n'a pas tissé la toile de la vie, il n'est qu'un fil de tissu. Tout ce qu'il fait à la toile, il le fait à lui-même."

"All things share the same breath the animals, the trees, the man, and the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports.

The earth and myself are of one mind

All things are connected. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the children of the earth.

We are part of the earth, and it is part of us."

Astley Green Mining Museum walkabouts

Liked this place a lot. Run by volunteers whose aim is to keep the history of coal mining alive. Great for general walkabouts with all sorts of heavy industrial equipment wanting you to take a photo.

Was smitten with this place & the bunch of lovely ex mining folk who made me very welcome, thank you

Chunks of old iron sat forlorn rusting away are probably the uninteresting photos you could think of !! so with this set I've gone for a 'cross colour' edit & as usual kept the white border , experimented with B&W which was my idea from the off but thought the watered down colours added a little more to the image, any feed back or tips would be appreciated ;-)))))))))
