On Thanksgiving Day the light was wonderful early morning, so after the turkey was in the oven I had plenty of time to walk around the home and enjoy the full bloom of the bougainvillea and other flowers. I am not sure what this bush is. The flowers are about 2" long as trumpets. There are earlier photos on my stream for this plant.
I took my little brother to the park and used him as my subject for this assignment. I created a 'frame with the chalk on the picnic table, using the lines from the wood as leaning lines. Then I stood on the table to get a birds-eye view with a better shot for the rule of thirds.
I like the angle of her body in relation to the rest of the picture. I wish that I hadn't cut her body off at the top of the pic.
