Using a wide angle lens, and utilizing its edge distortion (can be seen if looked at the CN Tower - curving towards the centre slightly) allows to capture this photograph with a slight hint of surrealism.

I had a lot of good pictures of his eyes but thought the contrast of his black paw on the red blanket was great!
