So, what I was actually doing was watching the LOTR bonus features about the making of the films and photoshopping old pictures at the same time. It blows my mind how they remove, replace, and add things to movies. How in the name of holy hell do you remove a human being from the screen and put a CGI Gollum in his place? It got into my head that if they can do it on film, I should be able to do it in Photoshop. I haven't tried to do this many times, so I'm not very good at it, but it kept me entertained for a few hours.
I don't love it - I think it looks totally fake. But it was fun to try. :)
And this park? Is where I'm taking Christy and Justin's post-wedding pre-reception pictures. Awesome.
CTG design and manufacture TORQdiscs. TORQdiscs are lightweight composite flexible couplings that are used in power transmission applications where low levels of angular misalignment may be present. The assembly provides lower weight than an equivalent crowned spline joint, a reduction in system axial loads as result of compliance, zero maintenance, zero backlash, low power loss, low wear, high fatigue resistant and fast, flexible installation. TORQdiscs are fully scaleable for different torque requirements and are currently used in automotive and aerospace product systems.
I gave up on this one as there are fridges on this one and can't seen to sort it out at all, it might be due to the fact I didn't do the selection properly.
Composite node

Composite of 6 images shot on PolypanF using a la sardina lomography camera.
La sardina has an f8 aperture and 1/100 second shutter speed so I tried ISO 50 film in full sunlight. Yet the negatives look at least 2 stops underexposed suggesting ISO 200 would be more appropriate.

First compositing exercise with cinema4D and AE. Excuse bad video quality cause i used the demo version, limited rendering format. Lot of fun doing this...
On a lunch break this week I walked through the undeveloped area next to the building I work in. A lightly tread trail led me to this dam of sorts. I had seen crews working back there last year but I was never sure what they were doing. This is a composite from a handful of snapshots. It wasn't the only discovery on the walk.
The Onesto Hotel, which is undergoing a complete renovation for use as luxury apartments, was open to the public for a few hours on Saturday thanks to The Canton Preservation Society. It's mostly just gutted out right now but there were still some interesting, original architectural elements in place. And the views from the 8th floor were wonderful.
Earlier on Saturday we went to the Farmer's Market downtown with some family but it was early in the season and there really weren't many vegetables or fruits available.
