Tampa Fireworks Composite, Fourth of July, Tampa, Florida
The shot is a composite. The city scene was taken while waiting for the fireworks. The fireworks were captured during the show and then added in over the city for a different view.

I did this shot last year, and I'm often asked how these guys were able to jump so high. This is actually a composite of 3 different shots, and some messing around in Photoshop.
I work up there in that room top right. I had the shots downloaded and the final comp finished by the time the guys got upstairs thanks to a little pre-planning.
Shadows are always the dealbreaker with composites.
I couldn't do this on a sunny day as the light would have moved too much. The lighting had to be very simple so I didn't make life difficult for myself later on.
The 3 shots that made up this image are in my photostream.

I do! Thanks to my cool new flickr friend David, who took the time to explain to me ways that I can capture awesome skies when I'm out with my camera. AND, when the sky just is not cooperating with me, how making a composite image can be fun! :-)
This is his "fix" of my boring cloudless sky. I LOVE it! Be sure to check out his awesome skies. Thanks so much David!
I'm super busy this week and over the weekend and haven't had/ won't have time to go visiting all of you like I want to. I'll try to catch up SOON. :-)

Creating composite images has long been a passion of mine but one that I don’t always get an opportunity or better said create an opportunity to develop these types of images. As a person who uses photography as his tool to express his artist impressions, composite i...

Baby squirrels in my moms backyard. The littlest one stays right in front of the patio window where my mom can watch him. She's getting the biggest kick out of them. The dogs first barked and barked while watching them out the window but now they don't even pay any attention. What does my mom do? She feeds them birdseed and gives them water. Her pest control man said he was going to quit her because she's always feeding the birds and critters and that bring other critters. My mom has a good heart and can't bear to see them hungry or thirsty...especially in this heat.
I wanted to do this in my last 365 but with interruptions from the twin and Gaylord I never really got round to it, When I saw Olga's perfect rendition of it, I thought I'd give it a go.
