I wanted to do this in my last 365 but with interruptions from the twin and Gaylord I never really got round to it, When I saw Olga's perfect rendition of it, I thought I'd give it a go.
Composite created for photo club's Color Creative Challenge. Musicians were performing at Detroit's Eastern Market.
I took 20 consecutive handheld shots on my Olympus OMD EM5 and combined them using Photoshop to achieve this super wide panaroma shot of Hong Kong Victoria Bay. Final RAW file 1.58gb, over 97 megapixels!

oh my ... this is so hard. My poor brain! Saw this incredible composite from an area photographer and just had to try it ... I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING! But how cool! I might not have the brain power left for this though. I need a nap now ...
Almost forgot to say what they are! Swallow-tailed Kites of course ... 3 frame composite.

Actually, this is composite of a photo I took of a back road nearby and of a Ford sedan at the 2018 Back to the Fifties car show.
A composite image of a fraction of species I have photographed on white while in Guyana. Plenty more of these are sure to come with various themes.
Ben's Cafe in Green River Utah combined with the Corona Australis Nebula, a star-forming region 420 light years away.
Having plenty of time to take the picture helps. I wish I had all the time I wanted on the Bend Bridge. This is a composite of 45 pictures each shot 10 seconds. Next time Ill have to bring a chair

So I'll be perfectly honest in saying that the scene in this photograph never existed in reality. It's not a composite, but it goes beyond a typical blend. It is comprised of 3 different images. One image was used for the water - a long exposure to get the smooth lines. One image was used for the foreground and the glow on the Watchman, while the third was used for the sky. It was the strangest thing, when there were hints of light and color on the dark cloud, there was no light/glow on the Watchman - and that's why I combined the two. I'm still trying to figure out what my "style" is and how far I am willing to go with post-processing. This is more than I typically do. Blending in the long exposure waer shot does not bother me. And if I used a separate sky image simply for exposure issues I would not mind. But I am a little uncomfortable with introducing different lighting with a blend...
Anyway, I don't want to get into what constitutes too much processing. Photography is a creative art and people should be free to go as far as they'd like. In the end, I just think it is important to be honest about the finished result.
Another crack at a composite, the photo is mine but I've added the Panda... we don't get a lot of Pandas here

This composite beast Imdugud was the symbol of the god Ningirsu of Sumeria. The massive panel may well have come from the space above a temple doorway.
It was built-up on a bitumen-covered wooden core, to which sheets of copper alloy were pinned with nails.
Extensively restored.
Early Dynastic III period c.2500 BC.

Shot this with 3 lights. A speedlite on either side in small photoflex softboxes with grids and a shoot through umbrella for fill.
