This is my newest picture for the 52 weeks project and the new theme "Composites".
The last week was a busy and successful week and nearly no time for a theme shot and my 52 weeks group, but today i took the chance in a tunnel - week 5 dusted and done =)
Shot with my Nikon Dƒ with 10 multiple exposures with a 85mm ƒ1,8, processed in Lightroom using VSCO Film Pack 04.
I tried my hand at another Milky Way composite. This one has quickly become a personal favourite of mine. It's amazing how two very different images can come together as one and work so beautifully together to create a majestic scene.
The sky image is from April 16, 2016 when I shot the Milky Way over an abandoned house on Highway 42 near Athens, Ontario.
The shoreline image is from Kingston between Rockwood Insane Asylum and Lake Ontario Park at sunset from July 29, 2016.
Attempt at compositing with a couple photos, one of Alysia we took in our backyard and another I took in West Vancouver while hiking. A little Photoshop and Lightroom magic and viola! I think it looks pretty creepy.

This is another composite with a friend! I had some flashes on the location and he played the cowboy! I like this portrait with this background I think it works well together!
Hope this does well because it took a long time to do. Don't think I've done one with six birds before. Taken at 6fps and then combined in photoshop.
This capture from last night is made up from three separate long exposures blended together. After the third capture the lightning had all but stopped and the rain was starting to fall.
Another composite trying a few different shade and texture techniques. I also wanted to see something on a stark white background with hard crops.

This, as it turned out, was not the final version. Click the link below to view "The Magic Lemon."

Another attempt of mine to create an interesting composite. There are a couple of texture layers here along with several of my photographs. Critiques are welcome. HSS
This is a composite shot. The Milky Way would be visible like this and in this spot at a particular point of the year, but light pollution makes the shot very washed out. I put this composite together as a consequence of that fact.
A composite created with some older images from last year. :) Hoping to get out with the camera again soon! I've been a bit of a hermit. :P

This is a composite of two photos from the Museum of Pop Culture. One is a large sculpture of stringed instruments and the other a photo from the Jimi Hendrix section.
The Museum of Pop Culture or MoPOP is a nonprofit museum in Seattle, Washington, dedicated to contemporary popular culture. It was founded by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen in 2000. Since then MoPOP has organized dozens of exhibits, 17 of which have toured across the U.S. and internationally. It has the world's largest collection of artifacts, hand-written lyrics, personal instruments, and original photographs celebrating the music and history of Seattle musician Jimi Hendrix and the band Nirvana. MoPOP is located on the campus of Seattle Center, adjacent to the Space Needle and the Seattle Center Monorail, which runs through the building. The structure itself was designed by Frank Gehry and resembles many of his firm's other works in its sheet-metal construction.
Even before groundbreaking, the Seattle Weekly said the design could refer to "the often quoted comparison to a smashed electric guitar." Gehry himself had in fact made the comparison: "We started collecting pictures of Stratocasters, bringing in guitar bodies, drawing on those shapes in developing our ideas." The architecture was greeted by Seattle residents with a mixture of acclaim for Gehry and derision for this particular edifice. [Wikipedia edited]
The peninsula of Ponta de São Lourenço. The Ilhas Desertas, Portuguese for Deserted Islands, can be seen in the far distance. They are a small archipelago located about 25 kilometres southeast of the eastern tip of Madeira Island, Ponta de São Lourenço.
Facing a lot of challenges these last couple of years. Trying to make the best of it and find some humor in it all. This was a fun image to make despite the subject matter. Looking forward to better times...
There is a fine line between horror and hilarity!
Playing around with a photo I did of a 458 at cars and coffee. I plan to go out and shoot it a proper background. :)
