Completed in 1965 and opened to public in 1966, as well as the communications equipment and office space there were viewing galleries, a souvenir shop, and a rotating restaurant, the "Top of the Tower", on the 34th floor. It is now not open to the public but is still in use by TV broadcasters and BT, when it was built it was the tallest building in London and the UK at 581ft.
It is Grade II Listed.
The video card (long and black in the lower-left quadrant) wouldn't fit with the hard drive cage in place, so I had to detach it and rotate the latter.
Happy Holidays Flickr Gang! With some down time and a bit of a cold i've been locked in the house. So I decided to work on my Minutia custom. Got her painted up after reworking the torso to fit the Lady Jaye waist. All that remains is the head that DAM head, n some touch ups. Feedback/criticism welcomed.
Other Chris and Traci come triumphantly into last place. They were victorious in their plan to be the losingest team of the day.
Serpentine tables make a complete circle when you put four of them end to end. The standard size creates a ten foot outside diameter with a five foot inside diameter.
If you put four together and then put a 60" round table in the middle, you get a ten foot diameter table. That would be large enough to seat twenty people.
They are also used by putting two together, creating a half circle to use as a beverage station
My 241 Tote (pattern by Anna Graham!), is now complete. It's made with prints from Lizzy House's fabric lines (Lizzy Dish, Red Letter Day, Castle Peeps, 1001 Peeps, Outfoxed), and now has been adorned with Outfoxed pins! I love collecting pins and could not pass these up when she listed them in her shop! :)

its been a long road, but i finally got there! Rear of frame hand polished for countless hours, Mark from Paconi racing frames painted it for me in Hawthorn Green, Kenn Dickie did the PB monogram and lug work, Back to paconi for a couple coats of clear. The thing rides like a dream! Bathroom scales had it at about 8 kg (17.6 pounds)
This happened. Was hoping to get a scan of the entire negative and not have to fake how they appeared, but the scanner is temperamental and I'm just scanning at whatever settings work tonight.
Finished at last, another 650b randonneur. This one is for my wife but will remain unridden for a while yet until she recovers from her foot operation. I had a quick go,on it and all seems well, if a tad on the small side for me. Looking forward to the Summer tour!
