Alaska Railroad work train is approaching Indian on the Kenai Sub and will spend a few minutes spreading some ballast at the north switch. In about 5 minutes time they are done and on to the next spot that needs some rock. This train still sports a caboose to help with the long back up moves required to do their job. The Kenai Mountains look on in the background.

The building is hugely intimidating with proportions of a city larger than the worlds capital and for robots with chromed skulls. A building for post-humans?
Little/Big update-it’s finished! I think at least, we will see. Just have to make a little light box or area to take some final photos. Picking up a shit ton (idk which measurement system that fits into, but it’s a lot) of legos from my cousins tomorrow, so hopefully I’ll have enough pieces to take on some bigger projects as I get back into it! Ah, she's finally complete! This has been an Airsoft work in progress for over a year and a half, and now I have finally completed my hunt for the various hard-to-obtain parts like the suppressor and EOTech! I just recently acquired the light, vertical grip, and suppressor in trades and purchases, and now I believe it's done! People who I know play airsoft are tagged!
I am saying that is 428 done after 21 years. Sure lots of small jobs and the bus needs running up which will no doubt mean more work as things are found but that is her complete all a major work is done and she is back together.
Objective Complete.Catching up after the 4th of pictures another trip coming back from NC. He told me I have the Gina head in this photo but whatever lol
Filled this terranium on a better surface. A couple of months ago, I had two beautful glass jars, filled them with all sorts of lovlies and the top of the table tipped and sent the lot into a million glassy pieces on the floor. I was also in pieces and sobbed hysterically whilst my stoic husband cleaned the lot up!
The ballast train from earlier in the day has completed its run around move and waits patiently for the signal from the dispatcher to re-enter the MRL 2nd sub. Severe thunderstorms and flash flooding in Lombard Canyon would hold things up for a bit. The Bozeman Local managed to sprint east just after thee LM arrived and took position behind the ballast train. To top it off, the Logan local finished its daily duties in the midst of this crazy thunderstorm and called it a day. While not all visible, it was pretty neat knowing that there were 4 MRL trains in Logan for a minute.

Myles shows he is the master of CTC here. He is also the master of the most expressive face I have ever seen in a hmmmphh! (whispering here) "dog".
He makes us laugh and smile on a daily basis and is an easy subject for photography. Sometimes I do feel gulity becuse I post more of him that the rest of my pack....but he makes it so dang EASY and enjoyable to shoot a fun photo!
This is only a piece of no grain kibble, but to Myles is might as well be the proverbial golden nugget!
To those who are in their second year of 52 weeks for dogs and are thinking about bowing out next year, please don't. The inspiration I have gotton from the pictures in this group has made me take better photos.
And without this fabulous face next year......I will need all the help I can get!
