Oddington's medieval church stands in picturesque isolation some distance from the present village. It was abandoned in 1852 when a new church was completed in the village itself. This proved a blessing as many of it's surviving features remain intact. The famous 'Doom' which covers most of the north wall is possibly the largest in the country and many other fragments of ancient decoration survive.
We are done with all these sections of the house there is still a half bath to plumb and some additional wiring and cabinet work to do in the kitchen but the layout of the rooms is finished and we are happily living in the home we created
Here are my finished Blooming Bloomers, made with Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece and the Unmentionables pattern at Knitty.com. They fit perfectly. I haven't blocked them yet, but they look good as they are.
I've seen some ugly babies before but this one takes the biscuit! - A baby pigeon fallen from its nest on Waterloo Bridge - I might've picked it up and put it back but it was out of reach - no wonder i've never seen a baby pigeon before - they stay hidden until this "transformation" has completed then just look like adult pigeons....Thank God!
My parents renovated kitchen, which I designed. It was horribly outdated. The kitchen is huge, and was poorly laid-out. We moved things around and personalized it. Here are the results. I'm pretty proud of how it came out.

My latest FO - a pair of socks for myself, using the "Dublin Bay" pattern and Black Bunny Fibers yarn. Love them!
Obvi it is a bit longer than 3 feet. ;-) Love this pattern for handpainted yarn, there is hardly any pooling.
