yay for all done. Now I just need to seal it up!

Don't really have the time to plan everything ahead of time, just working with parts on hand. Kinda working within the color scheme of the station.

To the right of the garage, the just-completed metal frame shelter stands covering the travel trailer. The Small Orange Pickup has the utility trailer with a pallet of energy logs waiting to be unloaded. Fernley House stands behind both structures.

A sand dam is a reinforced concrete wall built across seasonal river beds. Over one to three seasons, the dam fills up with water, then sand, which acts as a filter for the water. About 40% of the volume behind the dam is water, meaning that sand dams can hold an incredible 2 to 10 million litres of water!

This quilt has embroidered versions of special drawings my son did when he was a little boy. I have made the embroidered pictures with some fun fabrics into a quilt for him. John loved his motor cross bikes from the time he was about 5 so the embroidered drawing of him on his motor bike will be his favorite story to tell I think! John would go fishing with his granddad all the time and still often talks about the fun they had together through the years! John spend many many times at the range having fun with his dad playing around with guns! John is a top shot gun shooter now that he is older. The fabric pieces have pictures on them of things he did as a young boy such as played soccer, we went camping many time. His dad took him dear hunting, and we lived in snow country for a year where he got to build some snow man and play in the snow! There is even a fabric there of a farm, we lived on a farm for a year too! so many of his stories are here in this quilt.. John now has a son and daughter of his own so now he has his story on a quilt to share with them !!

Today has been such and awesome day! Well the past week has been such an awesome week to be quite honest!

I found out i have been accepted into the HNC Photography class at college next year starting in September!!! Which is mega exciting!!!

Although i didnt get a prom i got to go to my friends after prom party and it was brilliant!!! So amazing to catch up with some people i hadn't seen in a long time!

Due to the party i got to spend more time than i thought i would with my boyfriend throughout the week.

I EVENTUALLY got round to setting up a Tumblr account!! Wooo!!!

The weather was gorgeous today and i got some gorgeous photo's of the sky this evening and the sun setting over the sea!

And then to top it all off there was huge excitement from lots of my friends who were watching channel 4 at midnight tonight. They were showing a preview of one of my favourite bands (there's only 2 fave bands in my mind) Biffy Clyro's new tour DVD and i'm on it along with some friends! We were filmed after waiting in the que outside the gig for 8 hours! Me and another friends faces are on it and our other friends arms are on it! It has completely made my life so far complete! I am going to be on Biffy Clyro's Tour DVD!!!!!!

The completed chest tattoo :D :D

Made for the Springs Preserve Haunted Harvest event 2015. images projected onto wood/some drawn free hand and then cut out with jigsaw by my friend Michael. Painted by me and my team.

this is an artists personal sketch book, the book block had fallen away from the covers (there were no endpapers used originally) and the spine was gone.

I removed the covers and made a new one, sewed in new endpapaers and the text block and recovered.

I have used archival bookboard, hand made archival rice paste, acid free PVA, bookbinding mull, waxed Irish linen thread 2ply, mulberry paper, 200gsm canson paper for endsheets, upcycled leather.

He asked pretty please if I would go get his Spiderman helicopter that he left out in the car. I said only if he let me take his picture! I don't feel the least bit bad about that...he got his toy, I got my pic. :)

Happy with the way it turned out. It's level, it's flat, and it's square. Woot! Next up, tomorrow I start building the walls. Big one with the windows first.

This barn in near original configuration one mile E. of Hesston, KS. was built around World War I. Sadly most of these barns are fast disappearing from our landscape. 09-15-2012

What I've learned when making these:

- new decrease method (I did k2tog all the time before, I learned ssk)

- heel flap

- gusset

- twisted knit stitches

- how much I hate and cannot make ladders go away (I think future pairs of socks will be either done with magic loop or on two pairs of circular needles - I'm waiting on new ones to come in the mail with super flexible cables!)

as dawn heralds a new day, a turtle returns to the depths. only her tracks remain to show us that the circle of life is complete, and about to start again. in 65 days time, about 60-80 hatchlings will emerge. For every 1000 hatchlings, only 1 turtle will return to nest as an adult- on the same beach from which she hatched...

I couldn't help but think of video games where you advance to the next level after completing one
