I said to some that I would post up an example of the difference a graduated neutral density filter on your camera can make to your photos - so here it is!
Left = without the gnd filter
Right = with the gnd filter
I guess it is up to you to decide which one you like best but for me it is easily the right photo :)

Took a comparison pic bewteen the latest Ingenue cream white and DollShe resin color, adding also a pretty yellowd DIM 2011 sample.
Honestly Ingenue cream white is the most yellowed even if is the most recent.
Luts WS: the neck part is 1 year old (don't look at the neck, is very old -2007-)

I have no idea how much each doll has yellowed, AE should have the least yellowing considering she is the newest out of the three and has been in a box at MoC for some time.
If you look at the picture LY resin has a more yellow tone to it while AE is more white. I think however these two could make a good match with some blushing.
The PKF has a lot more peachier color!

An interesting comparison today. In a mad moment, I decided to buy a well used Canon 5D Classic with the Nifty Fifty. It's the one camera I wish I had never sold and decided to go on a nostalgia trip. It arrived today and for a giggle, I decided to try it alongside the SL2 with the 50 1.4. Both shots taken at f1.8 1/100 at ISO200.
I'm not trying to say for one second that the 15 yr old 5d/501.8 combo would ever compete in all round shooting with the Leica gear but it's interesting to see how it compares in favourable conditions. I certainly don't see over £9000 worth of difference between the shots.

This is a comparison image of Mystic Mountain in visible light and infrared light.
This beautiful image is a small portion of the large Carina Nebula, visible in the Southern Hemisphere. The nebula is located about 7500 light-years away in the constellation of Carina. The structure pictured here is often called the Mystic Mountain and features a dreamy landscape in a sea of blue nebula. The structure itself is 3 light-years tall! The stars nestled inside it that are hidden from view are eating away at this structure. Stars nearby are blasting it away as well, creating the unique pillar shapes.
The newborn stars hidden inside the dust and gas can be seen from the streams of light emanating from this structure. The structure also has various jets of gas streaming from it. These jets of gas are being shot out from the newborn stars inside. The one at the very top of the structure is even forming a bow shock!

Polarizing filter makes the skies deeper blue and makes the clouds appear more clearly. The tree looks a bit unreal, even.
Comparison of A Rebuild of Evangelion Kubrick and an original NGE era (late 90s) Kubrick. Very very different in a lot of ways.
I decided, since I had both available to me, to compare the American "cherry" Kit-Kat and the Japanese "sakura" kit-kat. The american version was thick and almost neon-pink; the japanese version was a very soft pink and had a light floral scent. On the whole, the American version is very smack-you-upside-the-head and the Japanese version is very understated.
Per the story w/the final image, and the scan of the resulting dark room work.

Takahashi Sky 90, Atik 460ex mono, -10c, 600s, 1x1 binned
Both cropped images were processed in exactly the same way in DSS, and CS5 ( I created an 'action' in PS to change the bit depth and adjust levels etc, and used this action on both images)
No other tweaking.

I had to alter the photo, zoom incredibly, with severe sharpen, just to match the resolution of the painting.
In other words, Sam works at very high resolution, his attention to detail is extremely high.
