In spite of (or maybe because of) so many of the real ones being made, there don't seem to be a lot of scale models of Mercedes 107s around. I was surprised to happen across this MicroMachines version for a couple of bucks on eBay, so I jumped at it .... but it was white, and repainting it to match the Merz is proving a real challenge for my shaky old hands. I resorted to using a toothpick instead of a paint brush for some of the smaller details, I should probably have given up on the brush earlier. It's still cute, though, you just have to not look too close. Still need to get some orange paint for the turn signal lenses.
I've always wondered how they manage to paint these little cars - trying to repaint one myself has not made this any more comprehensible. I was better at this sort of thing when I was 10; maybe small hands help
The model is actually a 560SLC, but that's pretty close. I painted over the vents on the sides to make them look like part of the side windows.
Portable radio UHF used for cycling and by the USPS Pro team. These are awesome for performance and size. Using them with a throat mic and earpiece.

Next halt- the Blood Compact Monument. This site tends to be rather nondescript thingy on the side of the road, with buildings on both sides and the open sea behind. Despite its supposed historical significance, there is not much hoo laa about it, it's just a bored place with a couple of trinkets sellers outside it. Good to stop by and take a picture, but little else. (Bohol- Tagbilaran, Philippines, May 2013)

C4 - Great for kitchens. Great for monuments.
For stone fabrication, C4 is a fully automated stone CNC machine that is as effective for monuments and memorials as it is for kitchen tops. Not only can you use it for sink cut-outs, but with a 220mm (8.7inches) Z-axis travel and oscillating capability it can cut, polish and engrave (both text and photo) monuments and memorials, as well as solid stone shower trays, in marble, granite and engineered stone.
The C4 is a development based on the C3’s unique open gantry. With the open gantry and compact and space-saving design it allows for any size work piece - without having to take into account the machine’s tool envelope. The stone is worked “polished side up” to make set up easier for the fabricator. The ”tilt table’’ means your stone doesn’t need to be calibrated and it’s perfect for drainers and flutes.
As with all our CNC stone fabrication machinery, the entire process is run from the integrated PC Windows® control panel. The easy-to-operate interface in the modern computer makes it possible to draw, change and save thousands of drawings and figures at the machine.
Along with our other CNC stone fabrication machinery, the C4 includes ScandSOFT™, the user-friendly software designed and developed by Scandinvent to make CNC programs of any sink, cooking top, monument or solid stone shower tray. So, without previous knowledge of CNC-technique you can operate the C4. More complex operations are also possible if you have CAD/CAM experience, and if you don’t go to www.scandinvent.com/DXF/ where we regularly update our database of the DXF files you need.
