The lure of compact fluorescent bulbs was that they lasted much longer and used less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs.
So many have disappointed me that I started noting the date on which I installed a given bulb (7/2/07 in this case). Even if it burned out yesterday (it actually did many months ago, I finally got around to taking this photo) this bulb burned out way before the 5 year marketing promise.
Now I have another mercury-containing device that I must dispose of properly.

Intuition Summer Festival 2009. Klasse! En last but not least, thx. to all nice partypeople and dj's for the nice photo-opportunities. Moeten we vaker doen :)

I mostly got these adorable pull-apart erasers for the Count Fabulous. I got them at Target. The bedazzlin' compact is from Claire's.

The presentation standard of Sport Compact drag cars has really amazed me so far this year, with a lot of the top runner track cars looking like prestine show cars with candy pearl paint jobs,tastefull air brushing and graffix and tuff drag spec rims all round. these guys have definatly stepped it up a notch!
Took a whole lot of photo's throughout the day, but unfortunatly forgot my memory backup so was limited to 4G worth of space...Ahhhrr.
Anyway, enjoy and please let me know what you think.

* Heavy-duty compact juice fountain with centered knife blade assembly
* 700-watt motor operates at 14,000 RPM for maximum extraction
* Extra-large 3-inch centered feed tube; stainless-steel micro-mesh filter
* Dishwasher-safe parts; custom cleaning brush included
The unit features a stabilizing dual knife assembly, which centers fruits or vegetable over the cutter and filter, minces them into minute particles, and forces them against the stainless-steel micro-mesh filter, all of which increases yield by 30 percent and produces results 10 times faster than other juice extractors. The filter and cutter system are so powerful that pineapple can be juiced with the rind on. Another thoughtful detail includes the machine’s extra-large 3-inch centered feed tube that allows for juicing whole fruits and vegetables.
