3 Lego City-scale, 4-wide cars.

The sleek, sporty, orange coupe. If you drive it, then you belong equaly on the track or on a public road. Built for the luxury division of a premeir auto company. This car is anything but tame. You'll know what I mean with the traction controll off!

The compact. Designed to be small enough to fit into even the smallest parking spaces, while spacious enough to take grocery shopping.

The muscle car. An automotive staple since 1960, this car is designed for speed! This version is the one most faithfull to the original in recent times, while still incorporating modern comforts (and emission laws :( ).

Very unusual 8x30 compact. Made in Japan, this is definitely intended as a pocket binocular as they have no attachment for a neck strap and measure just 4.5 ins x 3 ins wide closed. They are solid, well made and viewing is comfortable with smooth focusing. The 123m@1000m FOV views quite narrow, but the image is sharp, albeit not quite as bright as modern roof binoculars. Not sure how old these are, Opticron have been around for over 40 years, so my guess is late 1980s. Nice blue coatings. I'm not too sure it really meets the criteria for a compact, a little heavy for that, but overall, its not a bad little binocular.

Found this while going thru some things that were my parents. This little compact is about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. There is still some powder in the puff but the powder compartment is empty. Either belonged to my mom or sister. My sister passed in 1944 and mom in 1988.

This truck looked very similar to a Compaction Systems RL, but not 100% sure, once again on a DAF CF chassis and also spotted in Trafalgar Square.

I thought that these formed quite an interesting pattern. For anyone interested, the discs here contain the complete run of 14 shows performed by Bob Dylan during his residency at the Fox Warfield Theatre,San Francisco, from November 1st to November 16th 1979.

I love the macro feature on my compact camera!

As I'm sure I've mentioned before Bruno our cat is not a lap cat and would prefer to sleep anywhere except your lap during the day. Last winter I felt bad as he started to sleep on the cold window sills... So I made him window sill beds.

He now loves to nap in the afternoon on the window sill in the spare room. I thought the way he was laying today looked funny... And with his paws out like that I took the opportunity after I took this photo to attempt to cut his claws! Sadly he woke up, made a disapproving noise, changed position and then went back to sleep lying on his front paws.

Here’s the Compact Jenny knock off called “Slender Girl” who looks to share the same sculpt as Compact Jenny but with 5 points of articulation instead of gumby wire limbs. Weirdly enough she also has Jenny’s underwear molded on (which the Compact Jenny doesn’t have molded on).

She’s a pretty good match to the Figma Archetype knock off body but she’s gonna get her own body in the mail.

Haha. I made a funny.

A very appropriate word for my Olympus OM-D E-M5 Camera: COMPACT... 3rd Day shooting with the Micro 4/3 camera and I'm still surprised by how small and how much power this camera has...
