PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU FAVE!
So, I didn't actually plan on making her, but I just saw Suicide Squad on Saturday for the first time. Harley was literally the only thing that was keeping me interested along with deadshot's character arc.
So this fig is Squad inspired, with my own twists.
Also, new background!
Harley Quinn:
Her head is official, with blue and red eyeshadow added on. Her hair is from the CMF babysitter, painted in a off white, with baby blue and pink painted onto the tips. It also has some blue and red hairties. I liked the jacket less version in the film, so I went for that approach. The red top was swapped with blue, and the blue arm stripes were swapped with red. The shirt design is based off an actual HQ shirt, but I added the Card suit logos. The shirt is ripped at the ends, to give Harley a sense of edginess. The shorts are straight from Suicide Squad, but I didn't feel like adding fishnet stockings. The boots are knee high, with simple detail.
Overall, I really like how it turned out.
I plan on making the other Gotham Sirens, but with my own twists.
Again, please comment if you fave!
Thanks!
Boss.
I'm really not sure why this Short-eared Owl was looking up rather than looking down for voles. Perhaps he was expecting more trouble from one of his 'friends'. Thanks from Pauline by the way for all your lovely comments on her pics the other day.

Many thanks for the visits, faves and comments. Cheers
Little Corella
Scientific Name: Cacatua sanguinea
Description: Little Corellas are mostly white, with a fleshy blue eye-ring and a pale rose-pink patch between the eye and bill. In flight, a bright sulphur-yellow wash can be seen on the underwing and under tail. The sexes are similar in plumage, and young birds look like the adults, but are slightly smaller.
Similar species: In Australia there are two other species of corella. Both are similar in plumage to the Little Corella, but are larger. The Long-billed Corella,C. tenuirostris, measures 38 cm - 41 cm. It also differs by having an orange-scarlet band across the throat, and the upper part of the bill being longer than the lower part. The Western Corella, C. pastinator, measures 38 cm - 42 cm. It too has a longer upper bill (slightly smaller than that of the Long-billed Corella), but also has a larger white crest. One other large white species of cockatoo in Australia is the Sulphur-crested Cockatoo, C. galerita. This species is larger than the Corellas, measuring 45 cm - 50 cm and it has a sulphur-yellow crest. The scientific name for Little Corella, Cacatua sanguinea, means 'Blood-stained Cockatoo' and refers to the dark pink markings between the eye and the bill.
Distribution: Little Corellas are widespread throughout Australia, although large gaps separate some populations. The Little Corella is the most widely distributed of the three corella species found in Australia. The Western Corella is confined the extreme south-west of Western Australia, and the Long-billed Corella is found in the south-east.
Habitat: Little Corellas often form large flocks, especially along watercourses and where seeding grasses are found.
Feeding: Little Corellas feed in large noisy flocks. The birds feed mainly on the ground, and have to drink on a daily basis. The most common foods are grains and grass seeds. Some bulbs and fruits may also be eaten.
Breeding: Little Corellas are thought to pair for life and will start breeding at the start of a long period of rain. The nest site is a suitable tree hollow, lined with shavings of wood. This is normally used for several years in row. Both sexes incubate the eggs and both care for the young chicks. The chicks hatch naked and totally dependent on their parents. Breeding pairs nest in large colonies, and several nests may be found in the same tree. Where their ranges overlap, different corella species may nest together, but they are not thought to breed with each other.
Minimum Size: 35cm
Maximum Size: 42cm
Average size: 38cm
Average weight: 462g
Breeding season: Any time of the year when conditions are suitable.
Clutch Size: 2 to 4
Incubation: 25 days

Comments always appreciated, as long as you keep it clean - I love to hear your feedback! xx
Apologies for the quality of the audio on this - I've had to bodge this together. I made a slideshow using online software but I couldn't save it in a usable format, so instead I had to play it on the PC screen while filming it on my iphone.
It is somewhat self-indulgent, so apologies for that also, lol.
A collection of pictures from my first emergence, right through up to the end of July this year. Loads of different looks, outfits, places and people. Personally, I can't watch this without being reduced to joyful tears!
The music, 'This Is Me', from The Greatest Showman, is the perfect track and is somewhat of a trans anthem. Rightly so. As the lyrics go:
Look out 'cause here I come
And I'm marching on to the beat I drum
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apologies
This is me!

one favor to ask of commenters: please avoid bulky group icons or awards if you are not going to leave a real comment. the feedback is the only reason i have pictures up on flickr, and mass-generated "love your picture" group badges are not what i'm looking for. thank you for understanding!
to real commenters : i appreciate you. you are the reason i am here. thank you :)

The Great Glasshouse
This spectacular dome is the largest single span glasshouse in the world, designed by Norman Foster Poised on the Welsh landscape like a giant raindrop, it protects and conserves some of the most endangered plants on the planet.
These plants come from six areas of the world: California, Australia, the Canary Islands, Chile, South Africa, the Mediterranean Basin, and the Great Glasshouse is zoned to reflect this. Each of these geographical areas has regions that enjoy a Mediterranean climate. Hot dry summers, cool moist winters, dazzling sunlight, strong breezes and the occasional ground-clearing fire create perfect conditions for many plants to thrive on the scrubby, rock-strewn landscapes. In fact, it’s so perfect that most of these plants grow nowhere else on Earth. Although these regions cover less than 2% of the Earth’s surface, they contain more than 20% of all known flowering plant species, and the plant diversity are considered second only in importance to tropical habitats. Due to human activity, these habitats are now threatened as the rainforests, and our Great Glasshouse is dedicated to conserving their endangered plants.
At first glance, it is not obvious that the plants come from six different places in the world. This is because they share many qualities, such as small leathery evergreen leaves and dense shrubby forms . As you explore, you will find yourself travelling across continents and countries within a few steps. The imaginative flowing landscape on which these plants thrive, covers 3,500 square metres. Its rocky terraces, sandstone cliffs and gravelled scree slopes, are contoured to reflect the natural environment and to create a wide range of habitats. Balancing light and shade and varying moisture levels to suit the needs of different plants.
A magical visit—not to be missed.
